Among all the toners I've tried, this one is the most agreeable and effective. Most toners on the market claim to refine skin texture but contain exfoliating ingredients (even the famous 'd.d' toner, which I absolutely can't use). As someone with super sensitive skin, I was a toner nomad until I discovered this product while browsing Sidmool. It has a large volume, reasonable price, and is pH-balanced, so I bought it immediately. The verdict? It's fantastic - I've lost count of how many bottles I've used (maybe 8?). TMI: People with seborrheic dermatitis or rosacea are usually advised against using exfoliating toners. However, as my condition has improved significantly, I'm now using this as a gentle exfoliating toner. When using it, I pat it on gently instead of rubbing to minimize irritation. Due to seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea, my skin was extremely oily. I'm taking pantothenic acid, which has shifted my skin from oily to more of a combination dehydrated type. I layer this toner three times, and it's gentle and effective. Among Sidmool's toners, I was hesitant to try the Calendula one. I've used their Green Tea toner, ArcBy, and others, but this one is my favorite. It's adequately hydrating! I think it contains algae water or something similar - it tastes a bit salty if it gets in your mouth. One thing to note: make sure it absorbs completely. Despite being watery, it doesn't absorb quickly. If you apply your next skincare step before it's fully absorbed, it might pill. Let it absorb thoroughly before moving on to your next product. I think it's because it contains a gel-like essence - essences can pill too if not absorbed properly. This toner is perfect if you: - Are a toner nomad - Have sensitive skin and need a pH-balanced product - Want a hydrating toner that isn't too rich - Prefer fragrance-free, clean ingredients - Are new to Sidmool - Need a toner suitable for all seasons - Like to do the 7-skin method or toner masking This toner ticks all these boxes! Highly recommended!
Cons- As mentioned, it can pill if not fully absorbed. Make sure it's completely absorbed before applying other products. - It tastes salty if it gets in your mouth. - The bottle is opaque, so you can't see how much product is left. You have to guess by the weight. - Occasionally, you might get a product with a faulty pump.
TipWhen I use this as an exfoliating toner, I find it works well with White Rabbit (pink) cotton pads. It's also great for toner masking!

When my skin feels dry, I just place soaked cotton pads on my cheeks and forehead for 5 minutes, and it's incredibly soothing.
ConsSometimes it pills when used with certain creams or essences. I'm not an expert in analyzing ingredients, so I'm not sure why, but I get a bit nervous using this toner in the morning before makeup. I worry about pilling... That's why I mainly use it at night or when I'm not wearing makeup.
TipIt's really great for calming irritated skin. Highly recommend using it as a cotton pad mask!

Pros: Great value for money. That's Sidmool's strength - good ingredients at an affordable price. The 300ml large size at a reasonable price is a plus, but it could be a drawback if it doesn't suit your skin. The ingredients are simple but effective - mineral water, ions, calcium, and hydrating elements. However, it may sting and irritate sensitive skin. Usually fine for me though. Effects? It claims to soothe, tighten pores, improve skin texture, control sebum, and boost hydration. First, soothing! Not much when used as an exfoliating toner, but any toner can have a soothing effect when used as a skin pack. Pore tightening? It's nearly impossible to reduce pores with cosmetics, but you might feel a slight tightening effect due to the cooling sensation if refrigerated. However, this is temporary. It does improve skin texture. Using it as an exfoliating toner with a cotton pad in the direction of skin texture can help smooth any toner. I think it does help with sebum control. Unlike rich, super-moisturizing winter toners, this is a fresh, light summer toner that seems to have an oil control effect. Hydration boost? Well... I'm not sure. I didn't feel like it boosted hydration for the next steps. It's not very hydrating or moisturizing. It feels like applying water + a slightly slippery finish like seaweed. Seeing words like 'Mineral~', 'Soothing~~', 'Calcium~~', 'Ion~~' made me think 'Wow!?! This must be super hydrating!' It looked so refreshing and cool, I bought it for deep hydration, but it was below expectations. The packaging is one of the prettier ones from Sidmool. The pump with a cap is hygienic, but it's hard to see how much product is left.
ConsUse as an exfoliating toner or skin pack

While it's not intensely hydrating on its own, it's a refreshing exfoliating toner that's great for daily use. The product claims to soothe skin, tighten pores, refine skin texture, control sebum, and boost hydration. Realistically, it's a bit much to expect one toner to do all that, and I didn't notice any dramatic skin changes. However, it's gentle and non-irritating, making it suitable for everyday use. It might also work well as a skin pack. I appreciate the pump dispenser - it's hygienic and convenient.
ConsI've heard people mention pilling, and it's true - sometimes when you apply essence or cream after this toner, it can pill like dead skin cells. That's disappointing, but if you let it absorb fully, it's generally okay. Also, the opaque plastic packaging makes it hard to see how much product is left, which is a bit inconvenient. __________________________________________________________ (Additional note) I usually don't get large, inflamed blemishes, but I started getting one or two every week without fail. At first, I thought it was due to wearing a mask. Little did I know the mask wasn't to blame... Out of curiosity, I stopped using this toner for a week, and even on days when I wore a mask all day, I didn't get any inflamed blemishes. I have a lot of product left and it's a shame to waste it, but I'm too scared to use it now. I wonder if the mineral ingredients don't agree with my skin...

Also, it's a large quantity at an affordable price!
ConsApart from the two advantages mentioned above, I can't really find any other positives. Having used many toners, I have my own standards, and this product doesn't seem to have many appealing points for me. When I applied a product without hyaluronic acid-type ingredients after this, it caused pilling. This pilling irritated my skin. While I managed to find a suitable method by changing the order of application, I'm sure some people might find the pilling uncomfortable. Although the mineral ingredients might be good for the skin, it's a bit bothersome when small amounts get into your mouth as it tastes salty.
TipI'm just using it to wipe my face with a cotton pad after cleansing. The texture is very watery.

After trying many toners, I stumbled upon Sidmool and have been using it ever since. I've gone through about 5 bottles - at this point, it's definitely my holy grail product! My routine goes: cleansing oil, cleansing foam, then exfoliating toner. After washing my face, I don't dry it with a towel (to avoid bacteria and dust). Instead, I gently shake off excess water and apply the exfoliating toner. This method helps with dead skin cell removal and minimizes dry time. I really love this approach (personal opinion). Then I pat it in once or twice with my hands. Being a water-based formula, it absorbs quickly, which is a great advantage. The scent is almost non-existent. I think this product would be great for those who use exfoliating toners like me. It seems to have many benefits in various aspects!
ConsWell, there's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something... The bottle sometimes gets dented. You can fix it by slightly opening and pressing the container, but it's a bit annoying, even if it doesn't happen often. Occasionally, if I apply it too quickly without letting it absorb, it can pill like dead skin. But that's my fault, so can't really complain. I'm mentioning these because there aren't many downsides to note.
TipIt's not exactly a pro tip, but since the volume is huge, it's nice to transfer some into a spray bottle and use it as a mist. In my case, I mix it with jojoba oil and spray it on - it feels more moisturizing than using it alone. When my skin needs soothing, soaking cotton pads with the toner, refrigerating them, and then applying them feels cool and calming - it works great!

ConsSince it contains a lot of mineral components, if used as an absorbing toner multiple times, it may come out like other product steps. Absorption is extremely important.
TipIf you use it in 3 or more skin care steps, I personally feel it's a bit sticky, so I'm using it as a cleansing toner 1, absorbing toner 2. When cleansing, you should definitely use a cotton pad, and when absorbing, it seems better to absorb it with your hands.

Please buy it!!
ConsIt's hard to see how much product is left, and in the morning when I'm putting on makeup, it comes out clumped up...
TipIn the evening, after using a cotton pad, if I do a 10-minute water pack, the blemishes that had come up will miraculously subside.

Since it doesn't cause any breakouts, it's a good product.
ConsIt can feel a bit sticky when layering products. Personally, the stickiness didn't bother me much, but there are two things I dislike the most: 1. When applying a moisturizing gel on top of this skin toner, the gel tends to melt and become difficult to apply smoothly on the face. Even when squeezing it out, it just slides down quickly, making it frustrating to spread evenly. 2. When applying other products on top of this toner, it can cause pilling, and the pilled particles are not easy to remove, which could potentially irritate sensitive skin types. Most people don't use this toner as a standalone product, so this issue might be a concern.

I've been using it for 7-skin and haven't really felt like it's bad for my skin.
ConsWhen used with other products, it can feel a bit heavy. It's gentle, which is nice, but I didn't really get a strong sense that it's amazing. I get the occasional pimple, and I think it might be because of this product.
TipI wouldn't really recommend using it for a 7-skin routine with other products, but just applying it thinly, maybe 2-3 times, seems to work better.
