The price is affordable and despite the thick brush, I found it easy to apply. It's also quite long-lasting, which is a plus. Thanks to these qualities, I've already gone through a couple of these products. The more I used it, the more I noticed the color fading. When trying to layer it, it seemed to pill a bit. While it's resistant to removal, it appears slightly weak against oils. Also, the leakage of product around the cap and at the base of the brush was quite severe. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2019
At first, I loved how it had great color payoff and set quickly. It also stayed put well unless it came into contact with water, which was great. Unfortunately, it's not water-resistant, so it eventually smudged off like dirt. While the color was initially good, later it became difficult to apply and control the thickness, which was disappointing. For best results, store the eyeliner with the cap facing down to maintain good color payoff over time. Although controlling the thickness can be tricky, you need to apply it quickly and make any corrections immediately. If you don't, it sets fast, leading to messy eye corners that you'll end up having to remove and reapply. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 17, 2018
The consistency is perfect - not too hard or too soft. It's easy to control the thickness, whether you want a thin or thick line. It applies smoothly, which is great. 1. It doesn't apply well on areas with excess oil. 2. The outer packaging tends to peel off. 3. The cap breaks easily. 4. After a while, it tends to rub off like dead skin cells. 5. It's labeled as brown, but it's a much darker brown than expected. It works well when applied after using sebum powder on the eyelids. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 23, 2018
Important note: Although I have monolids, this review is based on using the product with double eyelid tape! I loved this so much that I first bought the black one, then followed up with the brown. In the photos, the black has a green case and the brown a gray one, though I'm not sure why they differ. When I went to buy the brown, it seemed the black also came in a gray case. The different outer packaging actually makes it easier to distinguish between them. Now, let me get to the point - this is my holy grail! I've been recommending it to all my friends. It sets quite quickly after application. Once set, it doesn't smudge unless disturbed. As you can see in the photo, I applied it and then vigorously rubbed it with two pumps of emulsion (Tony Moly Green Tea Emulsion), but it barely budged. I even tried using an ampoule, but apart from a tiny bit of fading in the circled area, it didn't smudge at all. It seems to be quite resistant to oils. Also, I love that the brown shade is a true, clear brown - not a near-black or dark brown as you can see in the photo. I always thought why bother with dark brown when it looks black from afar... But this one remains visibly brown even from a distance, making it a versatile, wearable shade. While it sets quickly, if you make a mistake during application, you can quickly wipe it off with a cotton swab dampened with saliva. So I didn't find it inconvenient when I needed to make corrections during makeup application! Due to its quick-setting nature and oil resistance, I found its staying power to be incredible on my eyes. When I go out, I don't touch my eyes at all, and I rarely carry the eyeliner for touch-ups. That's how little correction it needs. I don't even take it with me unless someone asks to borrow it. While it was resistant to oils, it unfortunately wasn't as resistant to water. It didn't smudge, but it did come off in flakes. However, this wasn't a major issue for me as I don't frequently go swimming or watch movies often, especially sad ones that might make me tear up. Also, if I rubbed my eyes once, the color would fade slightly. On days when I rubbed them a lot, I did have to reapply some eyeshadow, but it wasn't bothersome enough to be a real concern. The only other slight drawback was that it can be a bit tricky to control the thickness of the line. For quick corrections, use a cotton swab dampened with saliva! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2017
The drawing is clearly and vividly depicted, with a deep brown color that makes the eyes appear distinct. The brush is thick and sturdy, making it easy for beginners to draw, and the price is relatively affordable. It smears too much when drawing. The durability is poor. After drawing once and lightly rubbing with your fingers, it peels off like dirt, and when viewed up close, it appears slightly blotchy and clumped. The drawing on the back of the hand is hard to remove, so don't trust it... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 11, 2017
The eyeliner tail is drawn thinly and well. The color is not too light of a brown, so it looks more natural than when drawn in black. It smears... Sometimes it doesn't draw well when I layer it on top of the eyeliner, and if there's oil on my eyes, it doesn't draw well and smudges a bit. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2016
I bought it on sale for a few thousand won, and it seems much better than the price. Since I have oily skin, the gel eyeliner I used to wear would always smudge under my eyes, but it doesn't budge even after a few hours. Overall, I think it's great!! The fact that it removes too easily?! Just rubbing it with your hands makes it come off. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 20, 2016
It was good that it didn't smear at all. The best part was that it didn't smear at all when I dried it well, even with water and oil. It seemed strong against oil and water, but it was weak against friction. When I rubbed my eyes, it disappeared right away. And after drying, there may be a bit of powder fall-off. Using a powder that doesn't easily wipe off with friction would be great.
