With winter making my face extremely dry, causing redness and visible dead skin cells, I tried this product I received as a gift. I applied a thin layer on my face and waited about a minute until it turned transparent before rubbing it. Something yellow came off like dirt, which I thought might be dead skin cells, but it seems to be solidified oil. I finally understood why Hwahae Testers were saying it's oily - as the cream melts, it becomes very rich. The product is not irritating at all. I was worried about potential blemishes, but it didn't cause any itching or tingling and is very gentle. I liked the subtle lemon-like scent, and even though my skin visibly had a lot of flaking, I could see that the cracks diminished and dead skin cells disappeared. After washing my face, it felt as if I'd applied a whole bottle of oil - extremely greasy. Although it disappears after cleansing two or three times, I don't think it would suit those with oily skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 25, 2017
After applying to your face and waiting about a minute, the cream transforms into an oil-like texture, effectively removing dead skin cells It's quite greasy. Even after rinsing post-exfoliation, the lingering oiliness feels a bit uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it's because of my menstrual cycle, but as someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I noticed more small blemishes after using this. I'll need to use it a bit longer to be certain - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJul 14, 2017
I've been using this holy grail product for years! It effectively removes dead skin cells while providing excellent hydration, leaving my skin incredibly moisturized. Unlike some exfoliating scrubs that can be a bit harsh, this one smooths out my skin texture without any irritation. It might be too heavy and slightly oily for summer use. Probably best suited for those with dry skin. Before rinsing with water, try wiping it off with a tissue first to reduce the slippery feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 30, 2017
No irritation at all. My skin feels smoother after use. Love the large size. Effective even with a small amount. Excellent for removing whiteheads! It's amazing how smooth my nose and chin become ~ It seems to remove some blackheads too, probably due to the oil. If you roll it for too long, your skin can feel tingly and sore. It's crucial to stick to the recommended time. For better results, soften your skin with a warm towel first. Focus more on rolling your nose and chin areas as it's great for removing whiteheads. Start rolling when the product turns clear on your skin. Be careful not to overdo the rolling time as it may cause skin irritation. Remember, exfoliation isn't meant to be done all at once, so it's best to do it in moderation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2017
First off, it's truly a game-changer... You can visibly see the dead skin cells being removed as you roll. And the way it evens skin tone is remarkable. Not long after I started using it, a friend commented that my complexion looked brighter. The downside is that it feels a bit slippery even after washing with soap. However, this slick feeling disappears completely once you pat your face dry with a towel. Don't leave the cream on for too long hoping for better results. Start rolling as soon as the cream turns transparent. I found that leaving it on longer doesn't improve the exfoliation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2017
The large size, I guess? Nothing particularly stands out. The price is just average. It stung a bit when applied. There was a burning sensation... While it's effective at removing dead skin cells, the rubbing action caused irritation. I didn't get any blemishes, but it intensified redness and made my skin flush. Also, it's quite oily and difficult to wash off completely. Apply as thinly as possible, and those with super sensitive skin should avoid testing or using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 14, 2017
The scent wasn't unpleasant, and the texture was quite nice. It seems to contain oil, as there was no dryness after use. It was so slippery that I could hardly tell if it was exfoliating the dead skin cells. Rather than feeling hydrating, it left a rich, almost greasy feeling that some might find uncomfortable. I understand it's meant to address dryness, but it was hard to feel like it was actually exfoliating. Also, when I first applied it to my face, I felt a slight tingling sensation, which made me hesitant to massage it for too long. - hy**********Normal SkinNov 20, 2016
- Less irritating than other exfoliating products - Unlike harsh exfoliants that can stress your skin, this product gently removes dead skin cells when used once a week - Great value with a generous amount at an affordable price - Extremely slippery during cleansing (even more so than coconut oil or cleansing oil, which I use for my combination-dry skin) When washing your face, keep rinsing with running water until the slipperiness subsides. Follow up with a cleansing foam. If there's still a slick feeling, applying a face mask or your skincare products over it can help finish your routine without irritation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinOct 23, 2016
When you apply this cream and massage, dead skin cells come off like exfoliating scrub. After a gentle massage, rinse with lukewarm water and apply another layer of moisturizer. Your skin becomes incredibly smooth and your complexion noticeably brightens! I've even received many compliments on how my skin has improved since using this! The rich texture might feel too heavy for those with oily skin. I found the slippery feeling after washing a bit overwhelming. If I had to pinpoint one issue, it's that the amount is perhaps too generous...? If you haven't exfoliated in a while, you'll need to massage for quite some time before the dead skin cells start coming off - perhaps 5 minutes or more? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 18, 2016
The gentle exfoliation was a definite plus. After following up with cleansing, my face felt incredibly refreshed. I personally prefer scrubs that visibly remove dead skin cells, but this one didn't provide that intense exfoliation I was hoping for, which was a bit disappointing.
