The only positive aspect I can think of is that it applies smoothly. After reading reviews from people who've used Skinfood's Queen's Cream on blogs, Hwahae, and various websites, I'm utterly confused. Some claim it has a honey scent, but I can't understand where they're detecting it. All I smell is an overpowering men's skincare fragrance that stings my nose. Are we using different products? Some reviewers rave about the intense honey scent, while others, like me, complain about the strong masculine cologne smell. This inconsistency in fragrance makes me wonder if there's a quality control issue with the product. To make matters worse, I woke up with blemishes all over my face the morning after using it. This was the only new item in my skincare routine... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 8, 2018
I'm usually skeptical of skincare from color cosmetics-focused road shops and tend to avoid products with risky ingredients. While this product's ingredient list on Hwahae isn't perfect, my super sensitive skin used it comfortably without any blemishes. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it's hard to find a product that balances oil and moisture perfectly, but this one manages to do just that! I'm a bit uneasy about the few cautionary ingredients and artificial fragrance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2018
Ever since I got a sample of this, it's become my go-to winter moisturizer. Here's the amazing part: I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and super dry cheeks. Usually, rich creams cause blemishes on my nose and forehead, while lighter ones leave my cheeks feeling tight. But this? It strikes the perfect balance! I apply it generously before bed, almost like a sleeping mask, and wake up to skin that takes makeup beautifully the next day. I can't really think of any downsides. Some people mention not liking the scent, but to me, it just smells like a typical skincare product, which I don't mind at all! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 16, 2016
It's just moisturizing, but it has a bit of oiliness, so I think it would be better to use it in the winter. There's nothing really bad about it! The only thing is that the scent is similar to my dad's skin care product, haha! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 24, 2016
I've been searching for a honey cream, and I'm using one now. The pros... there really aren't any?? It's just so-so...?? The scent is overpowering. It feels like it's going to clog my nose. It doesn't even smell like honey, it smells like my dad's skin. It seems like they've put too many fragrances in it. The ingredients aren't great either. No intention to repurchase.
