Pros? It's tough to say. I loved the Dior cushion, but after finishing it, I realized Dior's price was too steep for the amount. So while searching for a new cushion, I tried this one briefly. When I first used it, the coverage was decent, and it looked dewy upon application. After a short while, it became slightly matte, which I liked. I used it with the Innisfree Aqua UV Protection Cream (mineral sunscreen), and the combination worked pretty well for me.
My skin broke out immediately after using this... Since this was the only change in my routine during that time, it's definitely the culprit. It comes off way too easily - just brushing against something removes it. Hair and dust stick to it easily, so if you finish with powder or a compact, it becomes too dry and cakes up around the nose and eyes. The way it breaks down is also terrible. For me, applying it on bare skin without a base made my complexion appear darker over time, so I had to use it with a brightening moisturizer or sunscreen. There are also too many defective puffs... Customer service says they'll replace them, but it's such a hassle. They should have made them properly in the first place! The back of the puff would split and leave black powder residue, which was really annoying. What's worse, since it's square-shaped, no other puffs except Espoir's fit in it, which is frustrating.
This might work well for those with flawless, resilient skin. My skin tone is around shade 22, slightly tanned, so keep in mind it brightens by about one shade.
