Before and after blackhead extraction, I'm applying this product. It has a slightly tacky texture. When using it as a spot treatment, I dab it on before bed or mix it 1:1 with a cream and apply it all over my face.
Cons
I have been using it consistently, but I have not seen a significant effect on my dark spots.

Applying it to rough skin can lead to folliculitis. It completely matures it.
Cons
I applied the cream mixed with Hwahae all over my face, and ended up with folliculitis? - red inflammation all over my face that I've been struggling with pigmentation for over four months.. I think I used too much, so I applied just a grain of rice-sized amount to the uneven areas, but after a few days, it swelled up and started oozing blood and pus, becoming inflamed. It seems like my skin doesn't agree with it very well.
