As a skincare nomad, I've always struggled with dryness and tightness. Other products didn't do much for me, so I'd given up. But this one? It's a game-changer. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and there's hardly any tightness after cleansing. Plus, it absorbs well without feeling sticky. Well, I do notice my skin feels a bit dry after sleeping. The hydration power is truly exceptional. For those with dry skin, using this in combination with the Royal Honey Emulsion would be an outstanding duo. Absolutely amazing! It's gentle, smells great, and offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for those with combination skin, sensitive skin, or even atopic dermatitis - it works wonders for all! Frustratingly hard to find these days. After trying countless products, I've finally found my holy grail. Personally, I'm absolutely in love with it. Skinfood, please don't ever disappear! The only downside is... the price went up recently, which is a bit of a bummer. But honestly, there's no other product that can replace it.

The plastic container is much lighter and better. I'm curious if it's just my imagination or if they actually made the toner and emulsion slightly lighter compared to the previous version. Still, it's my top pick for winter skincare basics. I've finished two bottles of the Royal Honey Essential Toner since the packaging change. (Only one before the change.) When I heard Skinfood was going bankrupt, my first worry was not being able to buy this anymore... lol I really hope they don't go under and keep producing this, please... But I feel like the toner was stickier before the change... Now it seems to have a more water-like texture, though it might just be my imagination. The texture is like a cross between water and a runny gel. It's wonderfully hydrating and has a pleasant scent. I found it particularly good for use in winter when my skin needed extra moisture. #Scent The fragrance is natural and subtle, not an artificial honey scent, making it pleasant to smell. I'm extremely sensitive to scents, but when I applied a generous amount, it was less off-putting compared to other toners. #Texture It's incredibly light, hydrating, and water-like. I found it convenient that the toner doesn't pour out excessively when tilted, but it's not too little either. The texture is perfect for spreading and absorbing. #Effectiveness As someone who quickly applies toner in the morning and does a toner pack at night, I can say this absorbs well. However, it might be a bit challenging to adapt to at first. I'm not sure if all Skinfood toners are like this, but this one certainly was. Fortunately, the adaptation period was short. #Hydration It provides excellent hydration to the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and nourished. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the moisturizing effect doesn't last as long as I'd like. Other than that, it's nearly perfect.
