This is one of the products I've been using for an incredibly long time. While there are many brands of papaw ointment, Lucas' Papaw Ointment is the original. The medium-sized tube costs around 5-6,000 won, but there are frequent sales, so stock up if you're in Australia! Although it applies thickly, it's absolutely top-notch for removing dead skin cells from lips. Another amazing thing is how quickly it soothes itchy skin - it's almost magical. It comes in three sizes, and carrying one around makes it a versatile ointment for many uses. You can use it on wounds, itches, dry skin, and insect bites. I often travel to Australia for work and always buy 10 at a time. Even though I buy so many, they disappear quickly when I'm back in Korea. It's really useful and makes a great gift too. Recently it's become available in Korea, but I believe the original is still only in Australia. Remember this item to stock up on when you visit Australia - it's perfect for gifts as well!
It applies thickly (though I manage this by controlling the amount), and it's quite oily (which is expected for an ointment).
In autumn and winter, try mixing a bit of this ointment with a nice-smelling hand cream. Apply the mixture, wait about 10 minutes, then rinse your hands with water only. This leaves your hands soft and hydrated without any stickiness - it's wonderful!
