I bought Lucas' Papaw Ointment because I heard it's the original and most effective among papaw creams! With so many brands at Olive Young and other retailers, it can be confusing, but simply put, Lucas is the most popular and mainstream brand in Australia, with papaya fruit extract at the top of the Hwahae ingredient list!!

Being papaya oil-based, it has a slippery texture, which I love as I have dry skin. I generously apply it on my lips and mix it with my moisturizer when my skin feels extra dry!
When my lips are extremely chapped and about to crack, applying this ointment subtly soothes them - it's amazing.
I even tried it on my face since I have dry, thick skin, and surprisingly, it didn't cause any blemishes and worked wonders!! It kept my skin hydrated until morning, like an overnight mask.
It's a bit disappointing that it's not widely available in many stores.
I purchased mine from an online store, but it's also actively sold on blog markets! While you can't buy it offline, there are quite a few online options.
It comes in sizes from 15g, 25g up to larger quantities. If you're mainly using it for your lips and want to carry it in your bag, 15g is perfect. For all-around use, 25g is a good size. I bought the 25g and use it on scars, blemishes, cuticles, wounds, and chapped areas - it's truly a multi-purpose product! I highly recommend it for its versatility as an all-in-one cream that can be used everywhere.
