I've bought this in bulk from home shopping and I'm already using my 6th bottle or so. When you emulsify it while cleansing, it lathers well and rinses off cleanly. I know it's not ideal, but I find using separate lip and eye makeup removers a hassle, so I use this to remove everything at once. It takes off both lip and eye makeup effectively (except for some stubborn eyeliners, which I use a dedicated remover for). Also, I have a lot of blackheads and dead skin cells on my nose, making it rough, but after cleansing with this, it becomes super smooth! It leaves my skin feeling soft too. I've never experienced any blemishes or irritation while using it, and I hardly feel any tightness after cleansing! My mom (with dry skin) and I (with oily, dehydrated skin) use it together, and we both love it. We're very satisfied! There's a slightly unclean feeling if I only use this, so I follow up with a foam cleanser for double cleansing. For eye makeup, using a dedicated eye makeup remover is definitely better.. This alone leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied! I really like this product and use it well, but I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. It makes me a bit sad... Some say it doesn't lather, but it's a product you're supposed to roll on with water, and it does foam up when you emulsify it! As for makeup removal, I find it removes lip and eye makeup well. I agree with the slightly unclean finish, so I double cleanse too. I always double cleanse with all oil cleansers because they all leave me feeling a bit unsatisfied! Hmm.. I didn't really feel any tightness either. The pump bottle was convenient to use, but honestly, I can't think of any other positives. This product doesn't even deserve one star. It doesn't lather at all, and its cleansing effectiveness is extremely poor. As for deep cleansing... I really don't understand how they can sell something like this.
