It applies thinly and lightly while keeping lips moisturized. It's the thinnest lip balm I've ever tried. The feel is absolutely fantastic. It provides instant hydration, making lip care quick and easy. Almost everyone loves it when they first try it. The case is also sleek and pretty. It's expensive and the soft formula wears down quickly. As light as it feels, the moisturizing effect doesn't last as long as other lip balms - you might not even get a month's use out of it. The formula is soft and the metal case has high heat conductivity, so you need to be careful in hot summers as it can melt, and in winters near heaters. I'd keep using it if money were no object, but... Recommended as a gift! It's a bit pricey to buy for yourself, but it's the kind of product you'd be thrilled to receive as a present.
