For my combination skin, this was too drying for me. My skin felt very parched and tight. I had to stop using it after a few weeks because it was just too drying. I imagine this would be a disaster for those with dry skin types...

This product seems great for those with wise and discerning skin. As an oil-free skincare, when I applied it and then did my makeup, I noticed less oil production in the T-zone area. I think this would be a good base product to use in the summer when there is a lot of sweating.

In the winter, I do notice a slight dryness. But during other seasons, I'm very satisfied with using this product.

I've been using this product since I was 20 years old, and it has been working great for my complex sensitive skin. The oil control seems to work well, and I've been using it for over 10 years now.
After trying other products in my 30s, my skin became uneven, so I came back to this one. I really like how it absorbs quickly and leaves a great feel, so I've continued using it.

Now I've switched to Atomy lotion, but I've been using this product for about 2-3 years until recently. When applying the Moisturize, always use the right amount, and for skin as sensitive as mine, spread it as thinly as possible. I currently live abroad, and the price here is cheap and good. It's a bit cheaper than most Korean cosmetics. In addition to the Moisturize, there's also a Softener, and you can use them together, or you can use the Softener with a different lotion, which gives a very light but clear feeling. (As I write this, the Purenius Softener is not on the Hwahae product list...)

While I had fewer acne breakouts, for some reason, I developed a lot of something on my cheeks and cheekbones. And sometimes when I applied a bit too much, my cheeks would get itchy and red, so I would lightly wipe them with water. After that, my skin would become good again.

I used to use White Lucent, but it was too irritating, so I lowered it one step to Purenius. Then, I had fewer acne breakouts and much better application.

The amount is a bit small? And in the dry winter, it's a bit lightweight. I had to apply a more emollient moisturizer on top.

I liked that it applied smoothly and absorbed quickly. It didn't sit on the surface but sank in moisturizing my skin right away. I've been using it with a toner, and I feel like my skin has become brighter.

The oil-controlling effect is short-lived, with the oily feeling returning soon.

The oil-control effect is not as effective as the MAC Oil Control Lotion or the Innisfree Hydro3 Moisture Cream. The scent is better, but that likely means there are more fragrant ingredients (which are not good for the skin). The refreshing feeling also seems to come from the denatured alcohol.

The volume is a bit on the smaller side. I purchased the toner and cleanser from the same line, but this emulsion is uniquely smaller in size. So I thought I could use less, but it still ran out faster than the other products.

The formula has a light and smooth application. The Shiseido Pureness line is for acne-prone and oily skin, and it actually has a slight oil-control effect. After applying, I felt that the oiliness was reduced. Even after absorbing, it still feels refreshing. The pump packaging is more hygienic to use compared to the jars I usually use. The scent is also subtly pleasant. Since it did not cause any breakouts for me, I don't think it's a bad product. I gave high scores for the oil-control effect and application, so I repurchased it.
