I snagged this at a great price on iHerb! For Eucerin, it's excellent value for money. It really helps calm redness and keeps my skin hydrated. I wish they'd release a line specifically for those of us with more severe redness issues... The current options just don't cut it for me, unfortunately. I mixed it with my serum and applied it at night - my skin stayed moisturized until morning! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2020
My skin is combination sensitive with deep dryness and prone to comedones. It's exhausting because my skin condition changes with every season. I've been rotating between Physiogel, Cetaphil, and Eucerin as my basics. They provide a good oil and moisture balance, and their texture is thinner than typical creams, which absorbs well. They're not oil-free, though. I love using this as a finishing cream after applying a low pH toner and hydrating ampoule. When I use it before bed, my redness improves by morning, and my makeup applies better. For me, Eucerin was much more effective than Cetaphil Redness Relief. The downside of both Cetaphil Redness Relief and this Eucerin product is that they need to be purchased from overseas. It's annoying to constantly stock up through international shopping because they're not available domestically. When I get lazy and use regular Cetaphil or Physiogel face cream, they're just okay. But when it comes to acne marks, redness, or when my skin gets super sensitive, nothing beats this product, so I always end up rushing back to it. When my skin is in really bad condition, I mix in a drop or two of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid serum. It definitely helps with deep dryness, and small comedones often stop progressing and even start to disappear. I have naturally dry skin, but I develop comedones due to dehydration. So I focus on replenishing moisture first, then sealing it in with oil-based products.
