The smooth application and gentle, non-irritating scent are really nice. Those with sensitive skin might experience a slight tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 29, 2020
As someone with dry skin, I found this moisturizing and perfect for winter. Depending on my skin's condition each day, I'd apply just a bit of the Vital Cream when my skin felt oilier, and slather it on generously on particularly dry days. I've had good experiences with the Revolution (purple bottle) line, so I trusted this red bottle line would work well too. Fortunately, it didn't cause any blemishes. If the Revolution line suits your skin like it does mine, you should be able to use this without any issues or blemishes. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 28, 2020
The hydration seems excellent. When I apply this emulsion, my dryness disappears for a while. It doesn't seem to suit acne-prone users well, as it tends to cause frequent breakouts. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 19, 2019
I liked how it absorbs smoothly and doesn't have an overpowering scent. Plus, it's often on sale, so you can get it at a great price. As someone with oily skin, I found it a bit too rich. It feels like it sits on top of my skin rather than absorbing well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 7, 2019
It's just an average emulsion, nothing special. Not particularly good or bad. Nothing really stands out as bad... Though I get startled every time I accidentally knock it over, worried it might break. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2019
I've used this product five times because it's pretty decent. It's lightweight and has a pleasant scent. Overall, it's a solid choice. It runs out too quickly and is a bit pricey. Also, the container itself is too heavy. - ji********Combination SkinAcne SkinMay 30, 2019
It's a decent cosmetic product. As someone who considers fragrance important when choosing skincare, I found the scent quite pleasant. The absorption seems fine, and while the store employee said it's not too heavy even for summer use, it feels more rich than hydrating. Maybe it's because I press it into my skin with my palms after applying? Afterwards, my palms feel slightly oily (just my personal observation). The bottle is excessively heavy, and it seems like the packaging costs more than the actual product inside - a case of over-packaging. It feels like Missha intentionally sets high base prices to offer frequent discounts. I wouldn't consider repurchasing this at this price point. I'm not quite sure about this one. I bought it without high expectations, but I'm still disappointed and now just using it up carelessly. - yb****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMay 13, 2019
It's pleasantly moist and has just the right amount of richness, so I'm satisfied using it If there's anything to be desired... well, it's just fine? There's nothing really Pat it in when applying - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2019
Hydration! I think this was pretty good. Even my parents said they liked it this winter. The absorption is decent and it soaks in fairly well. The scent is too mature for me. It's like... a bit of an herbal medicine smell, if I had to describe it. Haha! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2019
The absorbs well and I liked that the scent wasn't too strong. It's an emulsion with a good balance of oil and moisture, but it's slightly on the richer side, which suited my dry skin perfectly. I have super sensitive skin, and even highly-rated products often cause small blemishes, redness, and itching. However, this product didn't cause any blemishes, which was great! That said, when I checked the ingredient list on Hwahae, I noticed the formulation isn't particularly impressive, unfortunately. In conclusion, it's a decent, run-of-the-mill emulsion. While it feels hydrating when first applied, the oil and moisture balance doesn't last long. After a while, my skin starts to feel dry. (Update) I initially thought my sensitive skin was itchy due to the seasonal changes this spring, but after observing more closely today, I realized this product is the cause. I feel irritation and itching right after application. However, these symptoms do subside over time. Since the hydration doesn't last, it might be better to layer this with a cream for added moisture.
