  Pros

  This toner was hydrating without being drying. Although I couldn't use it for long since it was a sample size, it was a toner that effectively smoothed out dead skin cells without feeling dry on my dry skin.

  Cons

  Like other reviewers mentioned, I keep getting small, millet-like blemishes. Even though I only use it in the morning for evening out my skin, after a few days of use, these tiny blemishes that don't usually appear started popping up all over. Those with super sensitive skin should be careful.

  Tip

  For those who don't have sensitive skin, this might be great for hydrating and calming dead skin cells before makeup, helping your makeup apply more smoothly.

  Pros

  Unbeatable for refining skin texture. I fell in love after trying it once at the department store and bought it right away. After letting it sink into my skin, anything I applied on top gave my complexion a radiant glow.

  Cons

  Stopped using after 2 weeks. Despite the benefits mentioned above, after about a week of use, I started getting about three painful, unripened blemishes daily that felt like giant mosquito bites when pressed. They stopped appearing when I discontinued use. I nearly had a serious skin issue. Ended up spending as much at the dermatologist as I did on this product.

  Tip

  At the department store, they applied it by gently pressing with a wedge sponge. They didn't touch the skin much with their hands, which might be worth noting.

  Pros

  Although it's an emulsion, it's as light as a toner, making it perfect for gentle cleansing with a cotton pad. It's also great as a moisturizing base before makeup, helping your foundation apply smoothly.

  Cons

  I was told that initial redness would subside, but after a month of use, my skin still turns red and tingles every time. It's also causing more dead skin cells to build up.

  Pros

  The immediate effects were truly impressive. It calmed my dead skin cells and helped my makeup adhere better, which I found very satisfying. Since I heard it could feel intense for some people, I only used it every 2-3 days.

  Cons

  I usually have a couple of blemishes and small bumps around my chin area. So whether it was tiny bumps or larger blemishes, I've always blamed my skin rather than cosmetics. But for the first time in my life, I'm about to blame a skincare product. My face completely flipped out, looking all bumpy as if I'd been attacked by mosquitoes. It's calmed down a bit now, but I'm worried about how to completely settle these breakouts from my cheeks to my chin, and whether they'll leave scars. It's not even an affordable product... I regret buying it.

  Tip

  If you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend researching thoroughly before purchasing. Even though my dermatologist said I have sensitive skin, I've never had a product react so badly with my skin before. This toner really did a number on me.

  Pros

  After cleansing, I applied this with a cotton pad, wiping it across my face. It left my skin feeling moisturized without any deep dryness. I found that using just this product was enough! It also created a great base for makeup application.

  Cons

  I used this consistently for about two weeks, but gradually my skin started to develop small bumps. Then blemishes appeared, and my skin became itchy and red. On top of that, dead skin cells started flaking off excessively...

  It seems really great for removing dead skin cells. My makeup doesn't flake off either. However...

  Cons

  However... I have super sensitive skin, so the redness gradually got worse until my cheeks broke out again. But I was using this with Skinfood Propolis at the same time, so I'm not sure what caused it. Seeing that both contain phenoxyethanol, I think these just don't agree with my skin.

  Tip

  If you gently wipe your face with this before applying makeup, it prevents flaking and leaves your skin texture smooth. It just doesn't suit me personally.
