It doesn't feel sticky even when I apply it generously, so I'll use a thicker layer on the days when I'm in the air conditioning a lot!

I did think it was a bit pricey, but I bought it on sale at Hwahae, so the price was good and I'm happy with it! And it lasts a really long time... I used to pump the same volume of the all-in-one essence 2-3 times and use it every morning, and it lasted about 5 months.

I used to use the original Hwahae All-in-One Essence, but since it's summer, I wanted to switch to something a bit lighter. The main ingredient is birch sap, which is similar, and I checked the ingredients and they're all gentle and to my liking. It has less of a bouncy feel, but I think it's better for humid weather, and I'll switch back to the all-in-one in the winter.

It appears to be heavier than expected, so it may be difficult for oily skin types to use in the summer.

My skin was so severely dehydrated that even after washing my face, I would immediately feel a tightness. But after using this product, my skin has become truly moisturized from within, and the tightness has gone down from a 10 to around a 3.
Moreover, everyone has been saying that my skin looks so much better. Makeup used to easily peel off, and using too much moisturizer would prevent the makeup from applying well, but this product balances my skin so well that my makeup applies beautifully!

I've been using it based on my daughter's recommendation, and it's great for my dry skin.

 During sales or event periods, it's great to purchase through Naver Shopping. You can also apply for and use the thick free sample kit available on the website first.

 It's a shame it's too expensive. These days, they have sales often, so it's a bit better, but it's still quite expensive.
The most disappointing aspect is the ingredients. There are two harmful ingredients, so I'm anxious about using it for an extended period. That's probably why it was quite irritating and felt hot when I first used it. However, it's a remarkable product as my skin didn't get red or inflamed, and it improved. After using it intermittently for 2-3 weeks, I seem to have adapted to it, but I still can't use it on days when my skin condition is poor. While the harmful ingredients are listed at the back of the ingredient list, and it may not be an issue for those without sensitivity, I was disappointed to find harmful ingredients in a brand that promotes cosmetic dieting and a single-product skincare vision.

 My skin is dry, oily, sensitive, and prone to inflammation. It is greatly affected by the environment, has a bit of atopic dermatitis, and tends to produce excess oil.

#Texture/Formulation
The texture is a thin, moisturizing lotion. A little goes a long way, so you don't need to use a lot. (It's expensive, so I can't use too much anyway.) Just a small amount helps balance the oil and moisture levels. In my experience, two pumps (without pressing all the way down) are just right. The Hwahae Essence comes in a Balance & Fresh type, and the Fresh version is suitable for combination skin with a lightweight formula.

#Moisturizing Power
I usually use the Hwahae Mist + Fresh Essence or my previous toner + Fresh Essence, and my skin never feels dry. The balanced oil-water ratio seems to soothe and improve my skin. When I wake up, my complexion looks brighter and my skin texture is smoother, which surprised me. The changes aren't as noticeable now. The Fresh version has a 92:8 water-to-oil ratio, and the Hwahae products contain the brand's skin barrier-strengthening ingredients, which work well for my skin, which has an unhealthy skin barrier and unstable oil-water balance.

#Absorption
The absorption isn't very fast. It takes a while to sink in, but it doesn't leave a powdery finish. It has a dewy, slightly tacky finish. So I can't move on to the next step (sunscreen or makeup) right after application. Applying it in smaller amounts and layering might help with faster absorption.

#Recommended Skin Types
I'd recommend it for combination skin, inflammatory skin that needs oil-water balance, and dry skin that avoids rich products. For extremely dry skin, I'd suggest the Hwahae Essence Balance or Hwahae Cream.

The full price is 35,000 won for 110ml, but it's currently 10% off at 31,500 won. I wanted to try it because a friend loves the brand, but the price was a bit steep, so I ended up buying the 'Problem Skin Set' at a 1+1 deal. Apparently, this brand doesn't have frequent sales, but lately, they've been offering clearance sales almost constantly. Sounds good, I'm following along.

This alone won't do. It doesn't seem to be an all-in-one solution.

I have small hands, but it fits perfectly at 110 ml, which is more than the average amount, so that's good.

If it feels a bit lacking, you can try adding a drop of facial oil, spreading it in your palms, and then pressing it into your face to envelop it.

During dry seasonal changes, this might not be enough for oily skin types. I tend to apply a bit more, so the product volume is a bit disappointing.

Even though I have combination skin, using just this product leaves my skin feeling moisturized and comfortable without any tightness! After using it consistently, my skin texture has become more refined and supple!
