If the area you need to apply it to is eczema-prone skin, I would recommend it, but for skin as severely dry as mine, purchasing the Ultra Healing line would be the money-saving option.

1. It is difficult to purchase directly.
There is the inconvenience and hassle of having to purchase through parallel imports, plus the wait time until it arrives.
2. For severe dryness, the Ichiccare product is insufficient.
I used to use the Curel original blue and the Ultra Healing red, but I heard that the Ichiccare contains ingredients that respond to eczema, so it looked better, so I purchased it!
Personally, my favorite is Ultra Healing, but Ultra Healing has a slight lemon scent and is overflowing with moisture and oil, so it acts like an oasis for extreme dryness...
Ichiccare is unscented, so it doesn't have a particularly good smell, and when applied, it spreads smoothly like a regular cream, but it gets absorbed too quickly, so it didn't help my extremely dry and itchy skin on my arms and legs = it was still itchy.
I reordered the Ultra Healing to use as a hand cream and to apply on my body.

It leaves only moisture and is quickly absorbed.

I'm using this product for my daughter's atopic dermatitis. She has severe itching, so I'm using it desperately, like grasping at straws. My child has atopic dermatitis, and among the products I've tried, Curel Itch Defense and Illiyoon Ato Cream seem to be the most long-lasting and effective. These two are the best options in my experience. In the winter, it's also nice for the whole family to use the same body lotion.

This lotion is also good for wet wrap therapy, which is one of the recommended atopic dermatitis moisturizing treatments. I used to mix it with Zeroids MD and steroids for the treatment. The ceramide component in the Curel lotion is said to help skin regeneration. Of course, this is also one of the ingredients in the Zeroids.

They say the ingredients are not good, but I was so desperate that I've been using it without any issues. It has no fragrance and is quite thick, but not sticky... However, I would recommend using it only on the body, as it seems a bit oily for the face.

I am a patient with severe adult atopic dermatitis. After living in dry Canada, my atopic dermatitis became so severe that I eventually came to Korea and am currently undergoing treatment with the new drug Dupixent... 
I do apply the Zeroids MD lotion recommended by the dermatologist, but I find that even this Zeroids MD lotion and cream are not moisturizing enough, so I immediately apply the Itchy Defense lotion I brought back from Canada right after showering or bathing to pat dry.

The lotion is inexpensive in Canada (about 8,000-10,000 KRW) and has excellent moisturizing properties, so those who know about it tend to use only this. But not many people know about it.

From May 2019 when my condition started worsening until I came to Korea, I would have had a really hard time without this lotion. (I used one 480ml bottle per week...)
I've tried all kinds of atopic lotions like Cetaphil, Cerave, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, calendula oil, etc., and all kinds of oils, but they only exacerbated the itchiness and stinging, and nothing worked for me. People may react differently, but the Curel Itchy Defense has been a really gentle lotion that has protected my extremely dry and scaly skin...

If you're like me, with extremely dry skin and your whole body covered in scales, I'd recommend trying this at least once, even as a last resort.
