I've tried many lip balms, but Carmex is my favorite. It's affordable, the size is just right, and the moisturizing power is good, so I keep repurchasing it. It feels nice and Hwahae-like when I apply it, so I keep using this product. While this alone is somewhat stabilizing, it does not completely prevent dryness. Before going to bed at night, I apply a richer, thicker balm, and during the day I use this lighter lip balm~

However, it doesn't really have that sensation, so I'm not sure if it's been reformulated. The hydration is quite good though. The scent is somewhat noticeable, which might be hit or miss for some people. The fragrance has a slightly sweet note? It might be polarizing. This is absolutely my favorite lip balm! It's affordable and feels amazing to use. I apply a generous amount before bed, and when I wake up, all the dead skin cells are gone. If you're not a fan of floral scents, I'd recommend trying the cherry flavor. Personally, I love the floral scent, so I stick with the classic version. I've been using this product consistently for 6 years now. It's fantastic! There's honestly nothing I dislike about it. I'm completely satisfied with everything. It adhered well to my skin, providing decent hydration. I think it had a slight tint, but it wasn't unpleasant. The amount was too small, and towards the end, it became difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I've been using this for ages, alternating it with Blistex. These two are the only lip balms I use. This one has the strongest hydration and the moisturizing effect lasts the longest. Since lip balms are so easy to lose, I started using this one because it's the easiest to buy. I love that it's colorless, and it has a slightly cooling sensation that feels refreshing. It does the job of a lip balm, so there's nothing to complain about! It gives a slight glow without being excessive, making it perfect for everyday use. The best part? It doesn't leave your lips feeling greasy at all! You can even apply lipstick over it without anyone noticing you're wearing a lip balm. It works hard to keep your lips moisturized. The scent might be a hit or miss for some people. Also, depending on the temperature, the lip balm can melt or harden, which might make it a bit tricky to squeeze out. But that's about the only drawback I could find.
