  Pros

  Apply a thin layer before makeup and you'll see improved color payoff, adherence, and lasting power. Even an inexpensive eye primer makes a noticeable difference compared to not using one at all.

  Cons

  There aren't really any downsides. Just be sure to control the amount you use. If you apply it directly to your eyelids with the applicator, it will pill. Use an incredibly thin layer - even less than you might think necessary is enough.

  Tip

  Use a small, flat synthetic brush to gently apply a thin layer.

  It adheres incredibly well and doesn't come off easily unless you rub your eyes vigorously after applying eyeshadow! I'm already on my second bottle!

  This might just be me, but after some time, the product started to develop an unpleasant odor... It's quite disappointing.

  1. Color payoff After applying this base, eyeshadow colors definitely appear more vibrant and intense! 2. Adherence and longevity When you apply makeup over this product, it feels like it's really clinging to your skin. As a result, your eye makeup tends to last noticeably longer.

  I've switched from the Veiled Primer and I'm now on my second tube of this one. It's seriously a holy grail product - I'm not exaggerating, you really need to buy this! There's not much else to say except that the adherence is top-notch. When you apply eyeshadow over this, the color payoff is incredible, and there's no creasing in the eyelid folds.

  Cons

  There are no downsides... honestly, none at all. For first-time users, just make sure to control the amount you use! Apply a thin layer and then put on your eyeshadow.

  Tip

  This is an absolute steal during Missha's Black Friday sale when they do a buy-one-get-one-free deal. You can split it with a friend, sister, or anyone really. I bought it again a month ago during a sale, so I couldn't take a picture, but they often have 20-30% off deals, so try to buy it when it's on sale. As mentioned above, remember to apply it in a thin layer!

  This product has been so life-changing, I can divide my life into before and after buying it! I've just finished a whole tube and immediately repurchased. First off, the eyeshadow color payoff is noticeably about three times better. The staying power is also incredible, and it really lasts all day long.

  Cons

  There's not really anything to complain about, except maybe that the color payoff is so good that applying bold eyeshadows on their own can be a bit overwhelming?

  This has become my first and holy grail eye primer! I'm already on my 4th tube. When using this primer, there's a noticeable improvement in eyeshadow pigmentation, longevity, and adherence. It significantly reduces the worry about excess powder fallout!

  Cons

  I haven't encountered any disappointments while using it so far. Well, there was one time when the product seemed to leak from the container, but I'm not sure if it was due to a faulty container or my improper handling.

  Tip

  The key with primers is getting the amount just right! It's crucial to use neither too little nor too much - finding that perfect balance is essential. Apply the right amount for you, spread it with your fingers, and once it's slightly dry, that's when you should apply your eyeshadow.

  When I apply this primer before eyeshadow, it definitely helps the shadow adhere better and increases its longevity. I think it offers great primer functionality for its price point.

  Cons

  With prolonged use, it tends to mix with foundation, causing the tip to turn yellowish. There's also a slight odd smell that develops. Unfortunately, if too much time passes after applying the primer, it can get into your eyes along with the eyeshadow, causing some irritation.

  Tip

  It's best not to apply this too close to the eye's mucous membrane. I recommend wiping the applicator tip clean after each use.

  The adherence of this product is truly exceptional. Thanks to it, I no longer have shimmer eyeshadow settling into my double eyelid creases. I'm overjoyed every time I use it, wondering why I didn't discover it sooner. When applied close to the lashes, it seems to even reduce mascara smudging.

  Cons

  So far, I haven't found any significant drawbacks. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it can clump slightly and you need to be careful with the amount you apply...

  Pros

  I love how it reduces or eliminates creasing (when eyeshadow creates lines after some time). The staying power is incredible - it lasts almost all day in winter. The color payoff is so good that one application is enough, making it super convenient. Even with glitter eyeshadows, there's less fallout, and the shimmer adheres perfectly to the eyelids.

  Cons

  The downside is that it adheres so well that when using shimmer shadows in winter, even after multiple rounds of cleansing with remover-soaked cotton pads and swabs, the glitter stubbornly clings to the face. It's frustrating that it doesn't come off easily even by hand. The price is quite steep. Missha rarely has sales, and their 50% off deal happens only once a year, which is disappointing. There's an odd scent to it. It feels too rich, which can be challenging to work with.

  Tip

  You need to apply just a small amount, otherwise the shimmer eyeshadow sets so firmly that it becomes a nightmare to remove during cleansing. After applying the eye primer, it's best to finish the rest of your makeup while it dries, then apply the eyeshadow.
