When I first used it, true to its 'glow' claim, it left my skin with a luminous sheen. Compared to other foundations in glass bottles, this one is more compact, making it convenient to carry around. Initially, it gave a glowy finish that made my skin look great. However, with continued use, I noticed it became more matte. You really need to apply it evenly on your face. I bought it for the glow, but it doesn't feel very glowy. I've tried Maybelline, MAC, and YSL, but this foundation seems to have larger particles, resulting in the worst adherence. It tends to clump especially around the nose area. I thought it was dead skin cells at first, but it's just how this product behaves. The darkening effect is also quite noticeable, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 25, 2018
Among Laura Mercier products, I was torn between this and the 'Eraser Foundation', but I felt that one might apply a bit thick, so I went for this one! First off, it applies beautifully. It's like it just melds with my skin, you know? And most importantly, while other foundations can feel really heavy, this one goes on light and adheres well! I truly recommend this to anyone who loves a lightweight feel! While it has the advantage of applying lightly, it's not the product to choose if you're expecting high coverage. The coverage is really like... applying an emulsion? It applies lightly, feels moisturizing, and adheres well, but the coverage is lacking. That's why I didn't repurchase it. If you use this product, you'll probably need to pair it with a concealer or other powder products. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 20, 2017
The way it blended seamlessly with my skin tone was a major plus. Even when I applied a lighter shade, it didn't stand out unnaturally. Instead, it looked incredibly natural, as if it were my own complexion. To be honest, this product seems to have more drawbacks than benefits, at least for me. First off, it makes my makeup disappear in no time. The formula is quite rich, which for my oily skin feels like I've applied pure oil. As time passes, my bare face starts to show through. While this might happen with other cosmetics too, the issue here is how quickly it occurs. By the time I get to work, the coverage on my nose has completely worn off. I can't say the coverage is particularly impressive either.
