- In a nutshell, this product surprisingly exceeded my expectations. All the reviews seem to agree! Based on my experience, Missha and A'pieu have some real gems in their lip care line. - I usually don't have high hopes for lip care products. I'd rather use plain Vaseline than something with unnecessary ingredients (though it's a shame for those who can't use Vaseline). I don't even expect much in terms of hydration or ingredients... As someone with atopic, combination-dry skin, I sometimes get eczema around my mouth or suffer from painfully dry lips in winter. This winter, I've been spared that misery :) - I bought this when it was on clearance for just 2000 won to meet a minimum purchase amount. After reading reviews and checking the ingredients, I decided to give it a try. It's slightly sticky, but not uncomfortably so, and offers good hydration for the price. It's quite noticeable when applied to the lips, but that's okay! It also works well as a lip scrub later on. It's not extremely soft, but definitely on the softer side (though I'm not sure if that's just because it's winter). The product itself has a honey scent. It's a genuine honey fragrance, but when applied to the lips, it becomes somewhat bothersome and slightly nauseating, which is disappointing. I don't usually care about the taste or scent of lip products, but even without eating it, the lingering sensation is unpleasant. I suppose this comes down to personal preference; After writing this review, I realized the product has been discontinued! Missha and A'pieu have a habit of suddenly discontinuing products. I can't figure out their criteria for discontinuation. Whether popular or not, they just discontinue items... - mi********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 25, 2017
I love applying this generously at night and it stays on until morning! The scent is pleasantly sweet and it's great value for money. I used to only use Vaseline, but surprisingly, Vaseline would turn watery and leave my lips dry by morning. This product is exactly what I've been looking for! I'm planning to stock up on it. I usually apply lip balm generously around my mouth, but when I did that with this product, I got blemishes around my lips. However, I found that if I apply it liberally and then carefully wipe off the area around my mouth, I don't get any blemishes. It might feel a bit firm at first, but if you gently rub it on your lips, it melts quickly. - sh*******Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 1, 2017
I was wandering around looking for a lip balm when I spotted this on sale. I bought it and I'm really satisfied! It contains honey, so it's a bit oily and sticky, but not to the point where it's uncomfortable when you're just sitting or talking. It feels like 'Oh, I'm wearing lip balm' in a good way! It moisturizes well too! When your lips are dry, it's great to apply this before putting on a matte lipstick. You should buy it! I think it'll be perfect for fall, winter, and spring. It gives the impression of making your lips look plumper! If you're someone who doesn't like the feeling of having something on your lips, you might not love this product! It doesn't bother me though. For those who frequently use The Face Shop Shea Butter Lip Balm at night like I do, this isn't as oily, so it's good for daily use. But if you really dislike that product, you might not like this one either... Oh, and it has a slightly sweet scent, so if you're sensitive to fragrances, I recommend testing it before buying. Other than that, there's not much else to say! This product is perfect for applying over matte tints or lipsticks for daily use! But I'd advise against keeping it in your pants pocket or inside a skirt where it might get warm... lip balms tend to melt. It's better to carry it in your makeup pouch or in a pocket of an outer layer of clothing. Go ahead and buy it! - li*****Normal SkinDec 14, 2016
It feels moisturizing and has a nice, plump texture. The hydration lasts for hours, so you don't need to reapply frequently. It provides good moisture, which is satisfying even in winter. It has a lovely honey scent and great ingredients. What's really impressive is that it works well even with drying tints - no issues there. I'm completely satisfied with that aspect. It absorbs slowly into the lips without feeling like it's just sitting on top. I tend to apply lip balm generously to every corner of my lips, but with this one, it can make your lips look quite shiny. If you're sensitive to stickiness, you might find it a bit uncomfortable. It's definitely not a lightweight lip balm. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 3, 2016
First off, I was amazed at how smoothly it glided on my skin! The sweet fragrance is truly delightful. It's suitable for the current cold weather, but it seems a bit too soft. I probably won't be able to use it in summer! - et******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessOct 17, 2016
Here's my review after finishing a whole tube: I've been using this for a while now. True to its honey-based formula, it's deeply hydrating with a rich feel, creating a protective barrier on the lips. The texture is delightfully thick when applied. I didn't experience any blemishes, and when my lips were particularly flaky, I'd apply a generous layer before bed. In the morning, it was much easier to remove the dead skin cells. For daily use, I'd apply a lighter layer. I've already repurchased it! It's quite soft. If you apply it with a bit of pressure, the edges of the lip balm can get slightly mushy. I used it during summer, which might have contributed to this issue. It's a very safe, reliable choice.
