I'm extremely satisfied with how it absorbs and its coverage. A little goes a long way, so it should last quite a while. It's best applied using tools like a puff or cushion rather than your fingers. This seems to be true for all Pony Effect foundations. The way it breaks down is disappointing. It's quite thick and powdery, so when it starts to wear off, it clumps and crumbles. It tends to gather especially around the nose and mouth areas, whether they're dry or particularly oily. I strongly recommend using a tool to apply and blend it out! - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesSep 4, 2017
My skin is on the darker side due to previous tanning, but I've been stubbornly sticking to shade 21. I decided it's time to try makeup that actually matches my natural complexion. I was hesitant to go for a very dark shade right away, but this product had such a wide range of tones. I impulsively bought the Rosy Beige shade, which seemed a bit lighter among the darker options. Surprisingly, it turned out better than I expected overall. The coverage is decent, the color suits me well, and it even conceals a few small blemishes nicely. I'd say it's a product worth recommending! Since this is my first time using a darker shade, I'm not entirely sure, but when I apply just this product, it does give a slightly yellowish tinge - probably because of the darker tone. However, a little concealer easily fixes that! It is a bit on the rich side, though that doesn't bother me at all. I tend to apply foundation quite thickly (not sure if anyone else does this...), but with this product, I find it's better to apply a thinner layer than usual due to its rich texture. - ap*****Oily SkinAcne SkinJun 24, 2017
It absorbs well. I don't think it's particularly affected by the application tool. This is the first time I've seen so much excess oil. I'm oily-skinned, but now I'm getting blemishes I never had before... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 22, 2017
My skin is dry, and I loved how this product gave me a natural, dewy look even with just a small amount. People couldn't even tell I was wearing makeup! The rose fragrance was absolutely delightful too. However, after purchasing and using it regularly, I noticed it only lasts for about 2-3 hours. I have to reapply 2-3 times a day, so the staying power isn't great at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 28, 2017
The texture is smooth, and I was hoping it would be as good as the high-end foundation I used before... It really didn't work for me. It's supposed to be matte, but it's way too oily, yet it doesn't apply smoothly and feels stiff. This results in an uneven skin appearance. Plus, the staying power is poor. After a short while, I noticed dead skin cells flaking, blemishes appearing... and it even clogged my pores. The worst part is, it was like that from the moment I applied it... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2017
1. Excellent for dry skin types. It has a slightly rich texture, so you'll never feel parched. 2. When your makeup starts to fade a bit, it actually enhances your skin's appearance. 3. Even when you touch up your makeup, it doesn't build up or look cakey. 1. The shade was a bit lighter than expected. 2. After using it, I felt like my skin had a slight reaction. 3. The staying power is quite poor. 4. It tends to settle into fine lines. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 31, 2016
It's truly hydrating and applies in a thin layer, perfect for achieving that dewy glow or a natural makeup look. Unfortunately, it doesn't suit my skin well, so I've stopped using it for now. - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 8, 2016
It feels incredibly lightweight and evens out my skin tone! I don't like foundations that make my face look ghostly white, so this worked well for me. The coverage is absolutely zero. There's really no coverage at all, it just evens out the complexion. You must use a concealer! Since concealer tends to be thicker, using a lightweight foundation like this might be a good choice. - re**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2016
Oh... there's nothing good to say. My friend bought me a Pony lipstick as a gift and received four foundation samples with it. I was grateful to receive them, but... First off, I have a fair complexion, but this made me look like a different person... I mean, you could match it to your neck, but it's way too yellow. If you have light skin, I don't recommend this shade. The application is so-so, and I'm not sure about the adherence. As for staying power, even though it's matte and I prepped my skin well, it still flaked around my mouth. But the reason I'm writing this review after only using the sample for 3 days is because of the nightmare it caused for my skin. My skin had improved using Cetaphil emulsion, but on the first day, I got terrible blemishes on my cheeks, and today on my temples. It's so painful, and my friend keeps teasing me about it. I'm writing this review before throwing away the sample... I'm worried I'll hate it even more if it leaves acne scars. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinJun 29, 2016
The coverage is pretty decent, and it's so hydrating that you can achieve that coveted dewy, glass skin look It might be too moisturizing for summer, as my hair tends to stick to my face
