While it's not a high-coverage product, it brightens the complexion beautifully and works well for touch-ups.
ConsThe puff seems to wear out quickly. The staying power isn't particularly long-lasting.

As someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, I must say I don't use this cushion alone. While it's not high coverage, it's perfect for touch-ups. It doesn't feel heavy and gives a moisturizing glow that I'm absolutely thrilled with. I think even those with dry skin would find it suitable! On my skin, it didn't break down or darken noticeably. Even when it did start to fade, it did so gracefully. What I love most is that its ingredients are similar to high-end cushions. Usually, department store brands don't agree with my skin and cause blemishes, but fortunately, this one didn't give me any issues, so I enjoyed using it.
ConsFirst off, the cushion compact itself is too large, taking up a lot of space in my bag. The size is unnecessarily big. Also, considering the price, the amount of product is too small. I feel like I'm using it up quickly even though I haven't had it for long. It's a shame... it should come with two refills for this price. Additionally, the puff it comes with isn't great, so I replaced it with a Hera puff. The original puff seemed to absorb too much product.
TipConcealer is a must!

The initial application was pleasantly light!
ConsSo many disappointments... Even as a fan, I can't overlook the lack of coverage. First, the puff is terrible. I hate cushion puffs, and this feels similar but spongier. The more you apply, the more it cakes and separates. Second, it accentuates pores and texture. It's supposed to be a skin foundation cushion, but it's so different from a foundation. What's the issue? I have very dry skin, but I don't think this would work for oily skin either. Oddly, it feels dry underneath but moist on top! Super oily skin might not like the surface moisture, combination dehydrated skin should avoid it due to the inner dryness, and dry skin... well, it's obviously too drying. Changing the puff helped a bit, but it still feels dry. You really need to try it to understand. The pilling is no joke, and it clings terribly to the nose. Plus, it really emphasizes pores and blackheads. I'm so envious of those who like it! For me, it's like I just bought a $60 case.
TipUsing different applicators helps a bit. I tried Missha's regular air puff, a hydro sponge, and Missha's dampened air puff. The dampened Missha puff and hydro sponge worked best, though they sheered out the coverage. Still, I prefer that to pilling. I usually carry and use a regular air puff day-to-day, even though it can be a bit drying and prone to pilling for me.

This cushion enhances your natural skin tone, and unlike other brands, it doesn't break down messily throughout the day. As someone with super sensitive skin (I'm like a walking cosmetics tester!), I was thrilled that it didn't cause any blemishes. I found myself wondering, 'How is this not irritating my skin when not all the ingredients are perfect?' It's quite fascinating! While I initially fell for Bobbi Brown's chic and gorgeous case, I can confidently say that when you carry this cushion around, it definitely turns heads!
ConsFor me, the drawbacks outweighed the benefits. I was told it had a capsule format, but instead of a fully saturated sponge like typical cushions, it has holes where the product comes through. I found it difficult to control the amount, and it felt like I was applying clumps of BB cream with the puff. As a result, it didn't spread evenly! Also, the color! I have fair skin, and when I applied this, it made me look a bit yellow. People around me said my skin looked good but more yellow than usual. I couldn't tell if that was a compliment or criticism... This product doesn't seem to smooth out dead skin cells either. When I applied it without exfoliating first, it looked quite unflattering, emphasizing texture issues. That's why I didn't repurchase it.
TipI recommend this for those who already have good skin but want to cover mild redness or minor blemishes with a light, transparent makeup look. Keep in mind that results may vary, so be sure to test it before purchasing. Here's to looking beautiful every day!

ConsIt can feel a bit dry when applied, so make sure to prep your skin with a solid skincare routine beforehand. The included puff isn't great, so I recommend using an air cushion puff instead

ConsAfter applying, it feels extremely tight and dry. As someone prone to blemishes when my skin gets dry, I experienced dryness even when using it in summer. After trying it a few times, it ended up in the secondhand marketplace. While other Barbie products are excellent, I wonder what they put in this one. My skin became incredibly rough, but once I stopped using it, it returned to being smooth. A colleague who tried it also said it wasn't good. The puff is really terrible too - it absorbs all the product. Using a Missha puff makes it somewhat bearable.

It's perfect as a touch-up cushion. First off, the color is truly skin-tone. It looks incredibly natural, just like my own skin. It just brightens things up a bit. When touching up, it doesn't make my face look floaty, so I can apply it carelessly without worry. While it's not as hydrating as Nude Miracle, it's still quite moisturizing. There's a slight richness to it, but it's not suffocating and great for adding hydration to dry makeup in fall and winter. Despite being a moisturizing cushion, it doesn't feel heavy. When it fades, it does so beautifully. There's no darkening or messiness, which I love. It doesn't settle into or emphasize pores, which is fantastic.
ConsIf applied incorrectly, it can go on thickly on one side (requires some skill). The absorbs doesn't seem to be particularly good. If your initial makeup is dry, occasionally it might emphasize dead skin cells when touching up. The cushion tends to dry out faster compared to other cushions. The sponge doesn't appear to be of very high quality.
TipAfter applying to the desired areas of your face, press the puff down gently and slightly push outwards towards the edges of your face. This method ensures it adheres well without clumping. Applying it with a puff that's been lightly dampened with mist or a watery toner helps it go on more evenly.

When I heard Bobbi Brown and YSL released cushions, I tested both at the department store and ultimately chose Bobbi Brown. With my dry skin, moisture was my top priority, and Bobbi seemed slightly better. (The Bobbi Brown counter's thorough skincare routine before application probably made it look even better.) While using it, I didn't experience any blemishes, and it gave me a nice glow.
ConsHowever, when I check the mirror at work, it looks oily (though that could be due to using Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream underneath). It needs touch-ups, and most importantly, it lacks coverage. As I'm getting older, I need more coverage, which is disappointing. If it just had better coverage, it would be my holy grail cushion. I'm still using it, wondering if this is just how cushions are. Also, the sales associate said the capsule design was more hygienic, but it seems the same to me, including the puff. After checking Hwahae, I see good reviews for the YSL cushion, so I might try that next.

I use the orange puff sold at Olive Young, and it really adheres well to the skin. The color isn't yellow, but gives a bright complexion. I bought it for touch-ups, but now I use it for everything! I have dry skin, but if I apply a good skincare base, concealer, and then this, it lasts until the afternoon. I'll definitely repurchase!
ConsThe only downside for me is the puff... It feels like it absorbs too much of the foundation, so I've switched to using an IOPE puff instead!
