MISSHA Over-lengthening mascara [Wave Lash]

The price is quite reasonable. I wore mascara today!! The makeup I wanted to show off wasn't bad when I applied it. The staying power and curling effect weren't too bad either.

Hmm, it smudges. The characteristic strong scent of the mascara is a bit overpowering for me. Since I have eyes that tend to smudge easily, that might be the reason;; I don't have to touch up my makeup often.

As many of you already know, for those of us with smudgy eyes, applying a thin layer of Vaseline beforehand and then using an eyelash curler helps a bit. I also give the eyeshadow an extra coating.

I tried this product while looking for a mascara to replace Kiss Me. The distinctive feature is that the mascara wand is larger than those of other products. It is noticeably thicker and fuller than the wands of other mascaras. As a result, a lot of product gets picked up on the wand, so I had to wipe it off a few times before applying to get an even application. The curling power was just so-so. I always curl my lashes with a lash curler before applying mascara, but I didn't really feel like this mascara helped curl my lashes much. It was just average in that regard. The staying power was similar. After applying the mascara and waiting an hour or two, my lashes had pretty much fallen back to their original state. Overall, it seems like a fairly standard mascara. It doesn't excel at anything, but it gets the job done.

It doesn't have any standout pros or cons... I usually like to really lift my lashes when I do my makeup, but the curl hold and staying power of this mascara are just so-so, so I don't reach for it much. I'll have to look into trying a different mascara...
