Cleansing effectiveness: Even though I don't wear heavy makeup, this oil cleanser removes it without needing a separate remover. While it's not miraculously effective, it provides a balanced cleansing power that's neither too weak nor too strong for an oil cleanser. Gentleness: The oil has a nice consistency, not too thick or runny. It doesn't cause any irritation when handling and feels soft on the skin. Value for money: I remember buying this during a 50% off sale for less than 10,000 won. Even without the discount, it's an affordable product that offers great value. It's definitely a budget-friendly option. Sebum control: I have oily skin with excess sebum. I use an oil cleanser every 1-2 days to clean out the sebum in my pores. While it doesn't instantly clear out sebum like specialized products, it seems to prevent sebum buildup effectively. I'd recommend considering this for overall oil control rather than products that claim to remove sebum instantly, as those can be too harsh. Heavy oil: As mentioned earlier, the oil has a thicker consistency, which can feel a bit heavy on the skin. This could be a drawback. If you prefer a light, refreshing feel, you might want to look for a different product. Double cleansing necessary: After using this oil, your skin doesn't feel fresh and clean right away. It's like the oil doesn't emulsify completely... There's a lingering oily feeling, so a second cleanse is definitely needed. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wants to skip double cleansing after using an oil cleanser. When focusing on sebum control, try using a silicone pore brush. It helps achieve a more thorough cleanse of sebum. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2017
1. Mild The oil tends to be a bit irritating to the skin, so I avoid it a bit. But this one is really gentle. It seems to be the mildest among the oils I've tried. You can tell from how you can just pat it on your cheeks and rub it in without any issues. 2. Price and Volume I bought it during a Berrisom sale, and the price is affordable considering the volume. 3. Fragrance I barely noticed the fragrance, and I usually prefer unscented products, so I'm happy about that. 4. Texture It seems a bit more fluid than other oil cleansers. The typical oily, sticky feel of oils is less pronounced, so I think it might be less likely to cause breakouts. It's decent, but the cleansing power is a bit on the weaker side. If you have heavy makeup on, it might not remove everything completely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2016
Purchased at half the price. The ingredients are relatively mild. Blackheads are also well removed. The skin did not feel dry after cleansing. That's all. Although it claims to be water-soluble, even after emulsifying and trying to wash it off with cold, lukewarm, and hot water, it doesn't really dissolve well.. After water cleansing, there is a rather sticky residue, and since it doesn't wash off well, there is some leftover in the eye area, causing my eyes to sting ㅜㅜ Double cleansing with a cleansing foam is a must! (However, the residue is not as bad as the Happy Bath Soap Berry Cleansing Oil;;;) The cleansing oil itself is lightweight. There was no dryness after cleansing with the oil. Overall, it's a good deal when there's a discount event. It's not worth the full price, in my opinion. It contains coconut oil in the ingredients. Those with allergies to this ingredient should avoid it~ After reading a post by a famous blogger, I tried mixing the cleansing oil with my regular cleansing foam for the first step. This helps remove impurities more thoroughly from every nook and cranny of the skin! And for the second cleansing step, using the cleansing foam alone helps prevent the skin from becoming too dry, and also ensures a thorough removal of any remaining makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2016
The scent starts with herbal notes and ends with a lovely chamomile fragrance. As an oil-based product, it effectively removes even point makeup while being gentle on the skin. A few days ago, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it exfoliates like a scrub, removing dead skin cells. I'm not sure if it has a scrubbing function, but my skin feels smoother and more refined. It doesn't feel like it's completely washed off with just water. But since I do a second cleansing with a foam cleanser anyway, it's not a problem for me... If you want to use just one product, I wouldn't recommend it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2016
I like that the oil is gentler than the foam. The oil type definitely seems to have better cleansing power than water-based ones. There's not much that distinguishes it from other cleansing oils, so I took off one star. I'm not sure what ingredient provides the brightening effect... As with all oil-based types, a few rinses don't seem to completely wash it all away. So I use a cleansing lotion to give it an extra clean. Before emulsifying, spritz it on generously with a regular spray. That way, just a small amount gets evenly distributed.
