Pros

The shine is natural and the sparkles are beautiful. It comes with a brush and a mirror, which is convenient.

Cons

I'm not sure if the longevity is that great. It might be because I'm not good at applying makeup.

Pros

I see. I usually pick up the highlighter with the brush and apply it by laying the brush flat, so the roughness of the brush doesn't really bother me. However, it doesn't seem like the kind of brush that can be used for a long time without wearing out. It seems like it might start to deteriorate relatively quickly.

Cons

The lasting power is a bit disappointing. The adhesion could be better. It would be nice if it came in more color options.

Tip

This is a good starter item for a highlighter beginner, especially during a sale period. Since it's a powder formula, thorough double or triple cleansing is a must for highlighters. Be sure to get it during a sale.

Pros

In fact, before buying this product, I read some Hwahae Trial Reviewer comments that said it was not artificial-looking, had some powder fallout, and the shimmer wasn't too noticeable. The highlighter's pearl particles weren't too large, so it looked natural. But in my opinion, the 'natural' look wasn't completely seamless - you could still tell I was wearing highlighter, just not in an overpowering way. A light application blends in very naturally, and adding a bit more builds up the highlighter effect nicely. The adjustable coverage allows me to achieve my desired look. I personally don't mind the powder fallout too much. The product itself doesn't have much fallout, and the shimmery particles aren't glaringly obvious on my face, so I'm satisfied with it. Especially on a sunny day, this highlighter looks so pretty when I take photos - the glow is really beautiful and seems to suit my warm-toned complexion.

Cons

The only downside is that the longevity isn't great. When I touch up my makeup, I'd say only about 60-80% of the highlighter is left. It doesn't disappear completely, but has a patchy, faded look in some areas, which is a bit disappointing. As I mentioned, building up the highlighter effect is possible, but (understandably) that can also emphasize the skin texture. Improper application can lead to some cakiness as well, which is why I understand why people prefer to apply it subtly. Considering the full price, it feels a bit overpriced, so I'd recommend waiting for a sale. But it could be a good entry-level highlighter for beginners, since the glow doesn't look too artificial.

Pros

The product has a large capacity and applies nicely, with a relatively natural and pretty color payoff.

Cons

The glitter particles seem too large. Also, it doesn't last very long and fades quickly.
