Unfortunately, you can't escape feeling some dryness on your lips after application. Also, the wine bottle-shaped case might be a hit or miss for some people.

This product has a texture between a water tint and a gel tint, making it suitable as a base lip color. After application, it gives a slight glow and, being a tint, naturally leaves a stain. The staining isn't so intense that it becomes impossible to remove once applied, allowing you to adjust the intensity by quickly smudging it. The Merlot Burgundy shade is a unique dark reddish wine color, perfect for creating a heavier autumn/winter look, which is why I found myself using it more often than other shades.

I loved how the color was pretty and applied with a clear, vibrant finish. It was exactly the vampire shade I had in mind!

It's challenging to use on its own. It clumps badly, and worst of all, if you apply it alone, your lips turn a sickly bluish color, making you look unwell.

You can create a deep color effect by applying this light red tint and blending it towards the inner part of your lips for a gradient look.

The tint is very pink. It doesn't last very long. It's so thin that it's easy to misplace.

The packaging is really pretty. The color is beautiful. If you look good in pink, you'll probably love how it tints your lips.

The staying power and how it absorbs are both mediocre. The color is nothing special either. Everything about it is just average.

It looks like wine, smells like wine - I have to say the concept is really quite nice. For a tint, it's not very drying and feels quite moisturizing.

While the color payoff is lacking, you can use it as a base and layer another product on top (or vice versa) to create a more muted, moody look!

The wine-like fragrance is absolutely delightful (I could eat it up ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ) and the color is so beautiful!!! 
I have very sensitive lips, so matte products are a no-go for me, and tints would often flake off and make my lips peel, so I couldn't wear lip products for a while. But with this, my lips don't peel at all, so this is the only one I use now ㅠㅠㅠ I'll be buying more shades!

If you apply a lot, it clumps up a lot.

The first and second photos on the left are the Vampire Red.
The third and fourth are the Merlot Burgundy.

The photos came out a bit bright.
Both have more of a purple tone and are a bit deeper in color.

And it applies unevenly and clumps up.
So I'm not planning to buy it...

After the Etude House Vampire Red was discontinued, I ended up buying this product while searching for a similar color tint.
The department store tints were too expensive...
This one is deeper and a bit more pink compared to Vampire Red.

Vampire Red had a cool~warm tone. It suited my dark autumn warm skin tone well as a 23 shade.
The Lavie Merlot Burgundy is also decent, but it has a bit more of a pink undertone... so the color is not quite what I was looking for.
