I use this powder on a puff for heat rash. It's also amazing for greasy, oily spots on your scalp when you can't wash your hair! There are absolutely no downsides. I can't think of a single thing to complain about. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 23, 2023
Absorbs oil incredibly well. Apply evenly on a large puff using about a penny-sized amount, then pat it all over your face. It keeps you matte almost all day long. Even in the peak of summer, when you're sweating, only a tiny bit of oil comes through, but not enough to feel uncomfortable. It also provides a slight brightening effect. No blemishes either. The packaging is inconvenient to use. I wish it came in a smaller size. It doesn't need to come in a typical cosmetic container. I used to get tired of applying tiny amounts of oil control powder a hundred times on my face, so using a large puff to apply this product is much better. No other complaints. The large puff feels refreshing to use. When you need to go out without washing your hair, you can pat it on your scalp and hairline, then massage it in. It absorbs oil and has a deodorizing effect. On windy days or when you're very active and out for a long time, it may not last until the end. However, if you compare it to how your skin would look if you went out without using it at all, you could say it survives pretty well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 13, 2023
I mainly use this to control oiliness in my hair, and occasionally on my face too. It's great because it leaves everything feeling soft and powdery, and the scent is exactly like baby powder, which I love! The downside is that it can be a bit messy to use because of the excess powder that tends to fly around. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2023
It really locks in the hydration. Not much effect on oiliness though - for that, I'd recommend a no-sebum powder over this baby powder. After showering, feel free to generously apply it to areas where you want to control moisture, like your back or underarms that tend to get damp quickly. I love applying body emulsion after showering, then dusting baby powder all over - it makes me feel like a Disney baby, so delightful! Highly recommend using baby powder with sanitary pads too - it really reduces skin irritation. While I usually dislike baby powder scented hand creams and deodorants, this fragrance isn't too heavy and has a nice soft, cozy feel. It is a large container, but if an adult uses it liberally all over, it goes quickly. Still, it's not expensive, and the powdery softness feels so good that I use it generously. The opening is just like a pepper shaker, haha! Even though the powder hole is small, the particles are so fine and it's such a large volume that even tilting it slightly causes it to pour out like a waterfall. Be careful! Since it's a powder, it's easy to accidentally inhale if you move around a lot or sneeze while applying. It's better to shake some onto your hand first, then apply. If you're putting it on top of body emulsion, you really need to apply it generously. If you only use a moderate amount, it can mix with the emulsion's oiliness and clump up like dead skin cells, leaving the remaining emulsion feeling sticky. While it does feel nice to have your whole body moderately powdery and moisturized, using so much powder probably isn't great for your respiratory system, and you end up using quite a lot. I'd only recommend this method during the rainy season or peak summer. You can purchase 200g for 5000 won each at Daiso. The lid opens and closes by twisting - I've noticed some people don't realize this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2022
The scent is pleasant, and when applied to greasy hair, it does a decent job of controlling the oiliness. It would be better if it had a flip-top lid, as the powder keeps leaking out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2020
Skin type: Generally dry, but T-zone tends to get oily over time. I bought this because I felt the need to control oil, as I usually use moisturizing base products and only use hydrating makeup. It's quite effective at controlling oil and feels gentle on the skin. The large quantity means it'll last a long time. As it's a twist-up product, it's difficult to control the amount dispensed. Since it's not designed for facial use, it doesn't apply thinly. If you accidentally apply too much, white powder particles can remain visible on the skin. I found that patting it with a puff helps a bit. The scent is truly baby powder-like, but not particularly fragrant. I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to fragrances. The quantity is generous and it's fairly good to use overall. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 18, 2020
I have extremely oily skin, but I love that fresh, matte look. So, I always cake on powder right after my makeup and reapply almost every 2-3 hours. Until now, I've only used Inni*free and The* No Sebum powders, but using powder so frequently meant it ran out super fast... Then I tried Johnson's powder, and wow, it's seriously the best value for money! I was a bit worried at first since it's not originally meant for facial use - I thought my skin might freak out. But nope, it's been totally fine! I've been using it generously for about 3-4 months now. The quantity is huge, so I don't have to skimp on application. It's fantastic! Highly recommend! If you're used to drugstore powders and switch to this, the scent is... really overwhelming. I hate the smell of baby powder, so when I first sniffed it, I nearly passed out. But if you keep using it, you'll hardly notice the scent after a while! I always transfer some powder into a smaller container for use, but every time I do, it comes out in a huge puff. It seriously flies all over the room! Here's a super helpful tip: cover all but one hole in the lid with tape. It makes controlling the amount so much easier when you're using it. It's an absolute game-changer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 3, 2019
I use this as a finishing powder all over my face after makeup. It's great for controlling oil, improving longevity, and it even has a lovely baby powder scent! My scalp tends to get oily quickly, but I can decant some into a smaller container and pat it onto my bangs or crown for an instant refresh. It's perfect for summer when you're sweaty or for any areas prone to friction - it keeps everything feeling fresh and dry! There's not much to dislike, really. Perhaps the only minor issue is that it can be a bit powdery and create some excess when applied? Be careful not to inhale it when applying - hold your breath for a moment to avoid getting it in your mouth or nose! It's great to use like a no-sebum powder if you put some in a separate container. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJun 7, 2019
I bought this to control the oiliness in my bangs, and it works great! I've been using it by tapping some into a separate container. The scent is like baby powder, which is lovely. The powder comes out too fast from the dispenser hole, and the particles are so fine that it creates a lot of excess powder in the air. It's better to use it by tapping some into a separate container. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2019
The ingredients are fantastic! I love how it keeps my skin matte and effectively controls oil. I'm so impressed! After using no-sebum powder that irritated my skin and left it looking messy after makeup, I was on the hunt for a powder with good ingredients. I even tried a powder from a brand known for its quality ingredients, but that also caused irritation. I had almost given up on powders entirely when I stumbled upon this one. I've only used it once so far, but I'm overjoyed that it didn't cause any adverse reactions, especially since my skin usually reacts immediately to powders. The generous amount means I can use it liberally for various purposes. It's absolutely wonderful! I honestly can't think of any downsides yet. It's truly the best! It's great to carry a portable powder container with you for touch-ups throughout the day!
