I'm very satisfied with how it feels. I bought this product a few months ago for around $7 during a social deal. While I have dry skin, I'm very sensitive to heat and dislike feeling stuffy, so in summer I prefer creams with minimal or no oiliness. Previously, I used Isoi's Hydromax cream, but as I've gotten older, I found that gel-type creams alone weren't quite enough, even in summer when I dislike oiliness. The same brand's Repair cream had decent hydration for dry skin in summer, but it lacked that plump, water-filled moisture feeling, which was disappointing. This cream impressed me with its rich, hydrating feel upon application, and especially the way it adheres to the skin with a nice bouncy texture. The consistency is fluid due to high water content, but with a slight weight to it. It's similar to Skinfood's Hydro Cream in texture and moisture level, but slightly more translucent. Imagine the Skinfood cream with the slight oiliness removed (which I found a bit stuffy in summer) and only the bouncy texture remaining. I experienced no blemishes while using it. It does contain fragrance, but as other users have mentioned, it's a very subtle scent reminiscent of Pocari Sweat or Gatorade, which I actually liked. From its quirky name 'Salsu Daecheop Cream' to the brand name 'Legend Cosmetics', and its slightly offbeat yet trendy and memorable advertising, it's such a shame that this product seems to have been discontinued.
Cons- It appears that Legend Cosmetics, including this product, is no longer producing any items. The product I bought early this year expires next month in November, and there are no additional deals or any news on their official website... It's really disappointing to lose a summer moisturizer I finally liked... - For those with oily skin who need a completely matte or water-light moisturizer, the bouncy texture might feel stuffy or sticky. Even for dry skin, it won't be enough on its own once we're past the seasonal transition. - Like many creams, it's a shame it comes in a jar packaging. It seems we have to say goodbye without even getting the chance to ask for a tube version...
TipDuring seasonal transitions like now, mixing in a drop or two of face oil helps maintain the right balance of hydration and richness. Given its highly moisturizing and hydrating formula, it blends smoothly with oils without separating. I'll end this review by mentioning the beautiful ad for Legend Cosmetics I saw during the social deal...
