I bought it to use as a top coat after applying eyeliner and to help soften the look! The color is deep and rich, with no reddish undertones, making it great for softening eyeliner. The lack of reddish tones means it doesn't make my eyes look puffy, which I really like. 
In addition to using it for eyeliner, you can also use it to fill in your eyebrows. True to Bobbi Brown's reputation as a master of eyeshadows, the pigmentation and staying power are both excellent. Just a single swipe gives you intense, vibrant color.
The amount of product is also really generous, so if you buy it once, you'll be able to use it for a long time.

The staying power is amazing...
It doesn't bleed even with a brush pen. The eye makeup applies so smoothly, but it doesn't spread well. 
There are reviews saying the staying power is poor, but what on earth are you doing that makes it wear off so quickly?
I upload other color cosmetics to Laroach, and I use this for eyeliner. By the time I remove it late at night, this is the only thing that remains. 
After using this and being frustrated by the staying power, I'm thinking of getting another base as well.
