  The matte application is great, and the ingredients are good too. The blemish coverage is also decent for a BB cream. Even though I have acne-prone skin, this seems to prevent breakouts when I use it.

  The color range is not very diverse, and the shades don't quite match my skin tone, so it can look too pale or too dark if my skin is in the middle range. Also, it tends to get a bit shiny over time, so I'm not sure how to apply it to prevent that...

  During the time when my skin was flipping over and extremely sensitive, I bought this BB cream from La Roche-Posay while trying to meet the free shipping minimum. Since I was running out of the BB cream I was using, I decided to give this one a try. The application is really smooth, like a mousse type. It doesn't cake up at all, even when applied with just my fingers (I was surprised since this was my first time using a mousse-type product). It covers light acne scars and pigmentation marks to a certain degree. It's not as coverage-heavy as a concealer, but it's not bad either. I don't really expect BB creams to give a radiant look, so this one is just right - not dull, with a moderately even tone. A friend I met at night even said my face looked brighter. I do use a separate SPF 50 sunscreen, but this one has enough sun protection to go out in a hurry (it's labeled as a 'BB Blur', but the intended use is mentioned as a sunscreen). Although it's marketed for oily skin, I, with dry skin, have been using it even in the winter after a solid skincare routine. Overall, it's quite decent and above average in all aspects. There are just too many BB creams out there that are lacking in one way or another, so I'm quite satisfied with this one.
