I ordered the Houttuynia cordata as it is famous for being good for hair loss.
It has a refreshing herb-like fragrance and good cleansing power.
When washing my hair, it seems like less hair is falling out.

I bought this shampoo on a social media platform at a discounted price and used it, but it felt too thick, so I left it unused for about a year. Recently, my hands have been severely eczema-prone, so I couldn't use just any shampoo. The main criterion for choosing a shampoo became how much irritation it caused on my hands, rather than the scalp or hair condition. But this shampoo is gentle on my hands, so I'm using it again. I'm not sure why, but the squeaky clean feeling I used to experience is not as strong, but it still seems to be doing a decent job on my scalp.

However, after washing, haha, it's a bit squeaky.... Even though I try not to use rinse or treatment..., it's too squeaky haha haha But the scent is also subtle and good.

 It's just great, I love everything about it. The scent is nice too (I usually prefer unscented products, but this has a natural, not overpowering fruit scent that I like).  And it's clearly very beneficial for scalp health.
The price is also reasonable if you purchase it through social channels. Compared to other shampoos marketed for scalp health, this is an absolute steal!
But I'm curious, is the brand that makes this shampoo a Korean company? I really hope they don't go out of business, I'd be so sad. To those of you with a similar scalp type as mine, you have to try this shampoo! It really makes a difference.

Oh, and since the cleansing power is so strong, it might not be the best fit for those with naturally very dry scalps (though it is still more moisturizing compared to the cleansing power). For those folks, I'd suggest alternating this shampoo with a gentler one.
But for people like me who have an insanely oily, itchy, granule-y, pimple-prone scalp - I highly recommend this!

 The reason I didn't realize this shampoo was the cause of my improved scalp condition is that the effects don't show up immediately.
When I first started using it, it felt just 'okay' - clean and refreshing, but nothing special. So I just kept using it without much thought, and then at some point I realized my scalp had gotten better. I had just gotten used to the improved state.
But then when I switched to a different 'scalp-nourishing' shampoo, the itchiness and white granules came back, and the pimples returned. Ugh, it's so frustrating. I'm still using the new shampoo because I don't want to waste it, but I can definitely feel the difference.
It's only now that I realize how effective this shampoo was, now that I'm experiencing the problems again.
So for those of you using this shampoo, don't expect instant results. Be patient and keep using it. A lot of reviews say the shampoo itself is just 'okay' but the conditioner is great - I think that's because people write reviews after just trying it a couple times. But the shampoo is really the key, since it's directly affecting the scalp. It's hard to find a shampoo this effective at this price point.
I'm going to repurchase this shampoo again myself, since my scalp issues have flared up again.

I have an extremely oily scalp, so I have issues with greasiness, pimples, itchiness, and those mysterious white granules... I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. That was the kind of scalp I had.
During the time I used this shampoo, all of the above problems improved significantly.
I felt like I needed to wash my hair less often - every other day was enough, as it didn't get as greasy. It doesn't itch anymore, and I don't get pimples or those white granules.
Plus, the cleansing power is great, but it doesn't leave my scalp feeling dry. Other oily hair shampoos I've used in the past had good cleansing power and reduced the greasiness, but my scalp would end up feeling dry and itchy. I had to use a separate scalp tonic to moisturize. But with this shampoo, I didn't feel the need for any additional moisturizing.

I thought this was a good product because it was fine for about a month, but I've never experienced this before - my scalp suddenly started itching like crazy. Just in case, I stopped using these products, and the problem went away. I realized this was the cause, and although it's a shame, I had to throw them away.

Since it lathers up so well, it's a good idea to use a conditioner or hair pack at least twice a week after shampooing. Otherwise, your hair may become dry and brittle.
 
Also, the oil is removed so effectively that it can cause static electricity in the hair. So it's best to apply a hair essence as well.

The ingredients aren't 100% perfect, but some of them are common in regular shampoos, so I can overlook that.

Those sensitive to natural ingredients should check the ingredients carefully before using. One of my family members with very sensitive skin said their scalp felt itchy after using this shampoo!!

My scalp has become quite dry. As a result, I've also developed dandruff. The oil removal is too effective, making my hair feel coarse. This shampoo seems more suitable for summer than winter.

The shampoo I've been using had too much oil, so I decided to try a new one after checking the ingredients.
 
It's great that there's no excess oil! This seems to be the quintessential silicone-free shampoo.
The lather is wonderfully fluffy, and my hair feels squeaky clean after washing. The volume is good, and the price is reasonable. Even a day later, there's hardly any oil buildup - it's great!
The scent is herbal? Lemon? It's not too strong and fades quickly, which is fine.

You should always thoroughly wet your hair from root to tip before using the shampoo to get a good lather. If you just pour water on top, the lather won't reach the scalp area.

I bought and used the Shamu treatment that is sold on social media.
My scalp is itchy and I tend to have dandruff, and my hair gets slightly oily by the evening after washing in the morning. After using this shampoo, the itchiness and dandruff have decreased a bit, but the oiliness is still there. A small amount produces a good lather! I used to use 2 pumps of my regular shampoo, but with this one, 1 pump is enough.
And while the shampoo scent is not really my type and doesn't last long, the treatment has a sweet and very strong scent that lasts a long time.

It's a shame that it's not widely available for purchase in Korea.

This is a shampoo that I purchased through a Japanese online store. I have been using it for over a year and I am very satisfied with the price-to-performance ratio. It has good cleansing power and a nice fragrance. Even my boyfriend with sensitive skin uses this shampoo quite well.

Well, I just buy both the moisturizing type and the fluffy type, and use them depending on the condition of my hair on that day.

The lather was good, but the scent is a bit weak.

I was worried that it would be stiff without silicone, but it's really soft and nice.
I've also tried the Hwal shampoo, but this one is even better.
