Feminine and soft fragrance. It's identical to Bvlgari Amethyst! If you apply too much, it becomes intense and overpowering. It feels a bit heavy on the skin. - ma*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2020
I was surprised to see Etude releasing a perfume, so I bought the roll-on version without high expectations. However, the quality turned out to be better than I thought! Although the 7ml size is on the smaller side, the scent is quite strong, so you only need to apply a little. The price was also under 5000 won, which made it quite affordable and not a concern. The fragrance lives up to its name, giving off a dreamy aroma. Rather than being a subtle, diffusive scent, it's more of a bold and intense fragrance. It's not a universally appealing scent that everyone would enjoy, but rather one that might polarize opinions! The packaging is a slim, purple semi-transparent roll-on container with a label. Its compact size makes it easy to slip into a pocket or cosmetic pouch. Overall, it's a practical and good product, but I missed the mark when it came to choosing the right scent for me. The downside is that the scent is too strong and reminds me of the intense fragrance you might find in hair wax. Because of this, I didn't find myself reaching for it often. If you enjoy deep and intense fragrances, you might be satisfied, but for someone like me who prefers subtle scents, it was too overwhelming. Another disappointment was the ingredients list. It's not a fabric freshener but a product that goes directly on the skin. I wonder if they really needed to compromise on the ingredients to this extent. If you typically enjoy strong, intense perfumes or dreamy fragrances, I would recommend this product! It might also work well as a base layer before applying other scents. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 9, 2018
The scent is truly ethereal, leaving room for imagination... The roll-on format makes it convenient to carry, and I love how I can discreetly apply the fragrance with a subtle swipe. The scent isn't really my style, unfortunately. It has a slightly alcoholic, ginkgo-like smell... Since fragrance preferences vary from person to person, make sure to test it before buying! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 13, 2017
The scent is so addictive that I found myself buying it without even realizing. I'm not great at describing fragrances, so I hope you'll understand. When I first smelled it, it reminded me of a mature men's cologne - something sophisticated. As a student, it might not suit me perfectly, but I'd recommend this fragrance to people in their mid to late 20s. I bought the roll-on version, which is convenient for frequent application, and I love the simple packaging. The ingredients list is quite disappointing. I'm more used to body mists, so I'm not sure if all perfumes have such questionable ingredients. While I haven't experienced any issues, it still makes me a bit uneasy. The longevity is also not great - if I apply it in the morning, it barely lasts until lunchtime. And the lingering scent isn't pleasant either. I'm not sure if it's just my nose, but it smells a bit like food waste. My friends also mentioned they don't like the lingering scent. I might try Clean fragrances next time. As many of you may know, applying a layer of Vaseline over this fragrance can help improve its longevity. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 10, 2017
It has a subtle powdery scent that's fresh and soft! I absolutely adore the lingering fragrance. The scent lasts for a long time, and the roll-on format makes it convenient to carry and apply. I was torn between this and the Sweet version, but now I'm thinking of getting the Sweet one next time I go shopping. At first, like most perfumes, it has a bit of an alcohol scent. Since it's a roll-on, if you smell it directly from the roller, the alcohol scent is quite strong. If I had to point out a flaw, that would be it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2016
First off, unlike other Colorful Scent series products, I really liked the fragrance of this one. With other varieties, when I initially sampled the scent, my reaction was, 'Ugh! What is this?' I was quite disappointed and considered not buying them. So I wasn't planning to purchase this one either, but I decided to give it a final sniff... and wow! This scent was actually pleasant. It has a cozy and sweet aroma. Some people describe it as dreamy, but I'm not sure about that - I just think it's a nice fragrance. Hmm, I can't think of any major drawbacks. If I had to pick something, maybe the slight alcohol scent when you first open it? But even that isn't very strong - it's just barely noticeable. When you're buying it, make sure to smell the fragrance from the cap. That's where you'll catch the lingering scent, which is what you really need to experience. If you smell it directly from the bottle, the alcohol scent can be quite overwhelming. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 1, 2016
They really nailed the name on this one. The scent perfectly matches 'Dreaming' - it's fresh yet ethereal. I'm amazed at how well they've coordinated even the color. It has a slightly powdery feel to it. It's so challenging to describe something invisible - I'm really feeling the limitations of language here! Despite my previous aversion to Etude fragrances (thanks to my roommate's constant use of their hair mist last year), I think they've done a great job with the entire Colorful Scent line. The alcoholic scent lingers for far too long. If the alcohol note was less intense, I'd consider purchasing the full-size product. As it is, I'll just be content with using up a few sample sheets. I'm not sure if it's the same for the entire line, but both Romantic and Dreaming have a strong alcohol presence that lasts. I almost bought Romantic, but the alcohol scent was a deal-breaker. If you're not sensitive to alcohol smells like I am, you might really enjoy this.
