Before using this product, I used to use Innisfr* Apple Remover. I love eye makeup and do it often, but every time I used that remover to take off mascara, it would irritate the corners of my eyes (even without makeup, when I'm tired, the under-eye area can get irritated). I first encountered this remover as a sample when I bought a cushion from MAC, and I was amazed that it removed mascara without irritating my eyes! I love that it doesn't feel heavy or sticky when I use just the remover to cleanse. Above all, it's super gentle on the skin! It's a daily product, but the price... 100ml for $30 is quite steep. I go through about one bottle every two months. I thought the ingredients would be good since it feels gentle, but unfortunately, some of the components aren't ideal.
