If I don't extract these, they can turn into inflammatory acne. Squeezing them forcefully can cause damage, but gently massaging with MAC Cleanse Off Oil helps remove all the little bumps. You can also lightly press and roll your fingertips over the bumps to easily extract the trapped sebum. Follow up with your regular cleanser, whether it's a bar soap or foam cleanser, and it works wonders. I've tried many oil cleansers, but this is the only one that doesn't leave any oily residue, emulsifies well, and leaves my skin feeling clean.
ConsI wish they would release a larger size. I use two to three pumps for a thorough massage, but it feels like I'm going through the product quickly.
TipAfter emulsifying the oil, I don't just rinse with water. I make sure to use a soft sponge soaked in warm water to wipe my face. This helps remove dead skin cells more effectively and cleans out any residue from the pores. This way, I only need to use a tiny amount of my regular cleanser to finish up, which helps prevent my skin from feeling dry.
