It balances oil control nicely without making my skin feel tight. The scrub doesn't quite fit with this product. It's meant to control oil, so adding a scrub could be irritating. Fortunately, after trying it, the amount of scrub isn't enough to cause irritation. (I have thin skin that's combination type with some dry patches) It doesn't make my face feel extremely tight when applied like a mask. It's easy to use - just apply to your face, let it air dry naturally, then rinse off. Despite being a mud mask, it's moisturizing and absorbs well. While not visible, you can feel tiny particles when rinsing it off. I don't recommend rubbing too hard with these particles, even though they're gentle. Gently massaging while rinsing gives a clean feeling. Usually, even mild exfoliation makes my face turn red easily, but this doesn't, which I like. After cleansing, my skin feels hydrated and doesn't have that dry, tight feeling, which I appreciate. I would repurchase this. Actually, I bought this after trying a sample at the Biotherm counter and being satisfied. While using it, I didn't experience any blemishes or allergic reactions, and didn't feel any discomfort. It's great to follow up this mud mask with a sheet mask and then add some hydration.
