This product stands out for its vibrant and moisturizing color payoff. I'd especially recommend it for those with cool undertones. The intense vibrancy might be a bit challenging to pull off unless you have a bright complexion. Also, the case is prone to fingerprints. - mi******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2019
The staying power is great, and I love how it feels soft and lightweight even after reapplication. For my naturally dry lips, it's perfect - not too much, not too little. It's really the best! There's nothing to complain about... The only downside is that it's on the pricier side, but I think it's worth the investment. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2018
This Gye-Cool Bright is my holy grail lip product! If you're a cool tone, give it a try. It's so creamy and smooth, perfect for those with dry, flaky lips - highly recommended! It stains quite well (which I love). The color might look intense, but it's actually quite wearable when applied lightly. Full lip application looks gorgeous too. While someone below mentioned it didn't work for them, I think it really depends on the individual. I'm a cool-toned winter who can pull off Gangnam Pink as well. Since it varies person to person, I suggest testing it in-store! Most cool-toned winter lip recommendations are matte, which was disappointing, but this one's a game-changer! I haven't found any downsides yet! For my cool-toned winter friends, try Shu Uemura WN266 too. It's a bit more of an intense pink, but also lovely. That one's matte though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2018
As someone with a summer cool undertone - pale or soft, I think? - I was diagnosed with a pastel complexion. Tints wouldn't apply well to my upper lip, and lipsticks were a no-go due to my dead skin cells situation. I was a lip product nomad until I stumbled upon this holy grail recommended by a fellow summer cool tone online. On days when I'm doing a full face, I apply it all over, and for casual days, I go for a gradient look. When I whipped it out during a trip with friends, they were skeptical at first glance, but once applied, they showered me with compliments. The best part? Despite my dead skin cells issue that usually makes lipstick application tricky, this one glides on smoothly without emphasizing any flakiness. The biggest drawback of moisturizing, soft lip products is always their staying power... Unfortunately, this one falls short in that department too. I've tried another shade from the same line that a friend gave me, and oddly enough, this particular color seems to have even less longevity. Using lip primers can help improve staying power. They definitely make the color last longer, but I've heard the ingredients might not be the best, so I just reapply instead! The formula is great for touch-ups - it doesn't clump or apply patchily when you layer it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 26, 2017
It applies so smoothly with a matte finish and amazing adherence! I've never experienced a lipstick like this before! There's minimal staining, so reapplication gives you the same true color every time. I've been searching everywhere for this shade, and I think I've finally found my holy grail! While the color is that clean, clear shade I've been looking for as a summer cool tone, it's strange because it suits me well but also gives a slight impression of wearing a more saturated winter cool tone. If you're a summer cool tone, Bobbi Brown's Nourishing Lip Color in Bright Raspberry might be more flattering. That one applies with a sticky texture but has a really clear and transparent finish. I might try that one next... - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 20, 2017
The color really pops and feels soft on the lips. It's wonderfully moisturizing. When the lip color has mostly faded, it leaves behind a delicate pink tint (which I find quite pretty). I have a cool winter complexion, and my friends who tried it have deep undertones. Unfortunately, none of us could pull off this color. It seems like it might be optimized for summer cool tones. I'm applying it very, very lightly to make it work. I'm applying it lightly on my cheeks as well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2017
As someone with extremely dry lips, I've always struggled with matte lipsticks no matter how much lip balm I applied. However, this product barely emphasizes dead skin cells, has great color payoff, and feels quite moisturizing. For someone like me who constantly battles lip dryness, I'm quite satisfied! Having super dry skin, it's usually my lips that disappoint rather than the lipstick itself. I'm planning to buy another one in the Red Berry shade! - me*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2016
While it doesn't feel super hydrating, it applies smoothly and evenly. It's not matte, which is nice. The color payoff is excellent - just one swipe or a few dabs gives you full, vibrant color. It's a hot pink shade, but it doesn't look garish even with full coverage. There's a slight yellow undertone that helps it blend naturally with your skin. If you find purple-toned hot pinks overwhelming or unflattering, this shade might be perfect for you. The staying power is also impressive. Even after eating, a good amount of color remained on my lips. I don't have any particular complaints. The only slight drawback might be the price, which is a bit steep. But I'm actually planning to buy more shades!
