(I've tried the shower gel, body lotion, zinc cream, shampoo, baby all-in-one, hand wash, and even toothpaste in various categories) It's the ultimate shampoo that satisfies every aspect, from hair texture, scalp health, volume, ingredients, fragrance, to price. Ulleungdo Techram is famous for its organic food products, and their organic cosmetics also have excellent ingredients and feel great to use. First of all, the scalp itchiness has disappeared, and the back acne has completely cleared up. It's truly the best for the hair and scalp. You don't even need a conditioner, as it leaves the hair glossy. It also has less of the stiffness typical of silicone-free shampoos. It also does an excellent job at maintaining my preferred hairstyle and volume. The peppermint fragrance is great, and the fragrances are 100% natural. The Rasul, which is a kind of mud or clay, is mixed into the shampoo, and you need to stir it occasionally before use. I was skeptical about washing my hair with mud, but after trying it, it's even softer, cleaner, and more moisturized than other Ulleungdo Techram shampoos. It's a Danish brand, and it's really affordable in Europe. Right now, the exchange rate makes it around 8,900 won for a 500ml bottle. I've tried Aveda, Shu Uemura, and Kérastase, but this is better regardless of the price. Everyone asks me how I take care of my hair. It's super damaged, thin, and weak, and bleached. Give this a try, I highly recommend it.
ConsUnlike in Europe where it's easily available in stores, the downside is that it's hard to find in Korea. I really hope Ulleungdo Techram launches their products in Korea soon...... No, they absolutely must launch in Korea!! Until the day Ulleungdo Techram comes to Korea!!! (And at the same price!!) I'm going around promoting it everywhere!
TipAs for the conditioner, I haven't tried the Ulleungdo Techram one yet, as I've never been fully satisfied with even the most effective conditioners. I've been using the Burt's Bees Mango Shampoo and the Bioficina Toscana, an Italian organic brand's volume conditioner, and both of them make my hair incredibly soft (though they do contain small amounts of allergens). The Burt's Bees one makes my hair shiny, but the volume gets a bit flat, so I only use it lightly on the ends or every other day. The Bioficina Toscana product is ranked #1 conditioner on European organic websites, and it's also ICEA certified organic. The one I use is the volume conditioner, and it's their #1 conditioner overall. I really prioritize volume, so I'm very satisfied with this volumizing conditioner. It styles really well. It's also amazing how soft my hair gets without any silicones. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the fragrance - it's a bit like a strong perfume, which I personally don't like, but that's just a matter of personal preference. After washing my hair, I apply a small amount of the Real Good Hair Oil from the UK brand Puressentiel at the ends. This is truly the best hair oil I've tried. It's an organic oil, but the quality is superior, so it really nourishes my hair. Unlike silicone oils, it doesn't cause any back acne either! A little goes a long way, and the 24-month shelf life is quite long. This is my daily shampoo routine that minimizes harmful ingredients while keeping my hair healthy. Haha.
