Due to my contact dermatitis, I've been extremely cautious in trying this out. I'm planning to make it my go-to morning emulsion. At night, I use the MSM emulsion, and I've been sticking to this routine for a few weeks without changing any other products. After applying it morning and night, the acne on my forehead and the blemishes on my cheeks have almost disappeared, and my redness has significantly reduced. My pores have also improved, so I'm quite satisfied. It's not so much about the active ingredients, but I think my skin is improving thanks to that one AHA ingredient at the end. While I want to use products with gentle ingredients, I've found that my skin actually responds better and with less irritation to products containing AHA and retinol than to those without any active ingredients.
ConsI was initially concerned about the alcohol in the ingredients, but it's much less irritating to my skin than other products with supposedly beneficial ingredients. It's hard to find alcohol-free products, and since there's only a small amount, I think it's okay. After dealing with dermatitis for years, I've found that products with minimal ingredients and those that don't irritate my skin are the best.
TipHere's a tip: Apply a generous amount of essence that suits your skin, wait until about 95% of it is absorbed and your skin feels slightly moist, then apply a small amount of this product. Gently spread it or pat it in. The key to avoiding blemishes is to use only a small amount!
