I loved how my vanity felt more glamorous after buying this expensive Guerlain product Oil kept building up on top of the BB cream, and when I'd dab my face with a tissue, it was like an oil explosion. If I tried to blot it all away, I'd end up with a bare face. So I only used it for quick trips to the supermarket or when I suddenly needed to cover up my bare skin. Worst of all, the color made my complexion look so dull that people kept asking if I was sick. I'd try to compensate with bright lipstick, but that just made my face look even darker. In the end, even toning down my lip color didn't help - it just doesn't work for me. This might work well for someone with really great skin. It doesn't seem suitable for oily or combination skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2019
As someone with dry skin, I loved how moisturizing it was and how it didn't separate on my face. While it works fine for me since I don't need much coverage, those looking for high coverage might not be satisfied. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2019
As someone in their 50s with drier skin, I find this product absorbs beautifully without any greasiness. It's not too thick and enhances my complexion naturally. The price is wickedly high, making it barely affordable even at duty-free shops. Also, its coverage is somewhat lacking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 4, 2018
First off, it's much lighter on the skin than the original Guerlain foundation, yet it still retains Guerlain's signature ability to beautifully melt into the skin over time, enhancing your complexion It works well for spring and summer, but for fall and winter, you'll need to layer on heavy moisturizer to achieve that coveted 'moist inside, smooth outside' look. If you're looking for blemish coverage or high coverage, you're better off sticking with a regular foundation! I recommend applying a thin layer with a makeup sponge! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 6, 2018
It adheres well, has great staying power, and provides decent coverage. When it does fade, it does so beautifully. It feels a bit like foundation, but it's lightweight and not overwhelming. My skin tone is quite fair, around shade 13, so I was initially shocked thinking this BB cream might be too dark. However, it does lighten up a bit over time. While it's still a tad dark for my complexion, it gives my skin a slightly toned-down, calm, and sophisticated golden glow. With everyone going for super pale makeup these days, I'm actually quite satisfied with this more toned-down look - it appears healthier and more natural. Oh, and it creates a moisturized, glowing complexion, so I think it would be great for those with dry skin too! I seem to get one or two small blemishes, but they usually disappear by the next morning after cleansing, so it's not too bad. The main issue, though, is the price... it's a bit steep. I apply it over primer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2018
I switched from using Hera cushion to Guerlain BB cream because Hera caused severe darkening and eye fatigue, possibly due to its ingredients. Guerlain BB cream doesn't darken or break down over time, which I love. Its coverage is also similar to Hera's. The original product had a tube pump design, which became problematic when nearly empty and the pump area would get messy. However, the renewed product seems improved with its squeeze-to-use format. I apply it using a cushion puff. Squeezing out a pea-sized amount on the back of your hand works well for application. For those who find the color too dark, try using a brightening moisturizer as a makeup base before applying - it'll help achieve a lighter complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 7, 2018
I went to Sephora in Spain to buy Futurist, but ended up being swayed by the sales pitch and purchased it much cheaper at the nearby El Corte Inglés (over 20,000 won less than in Korea). Above all, the skin finish is incredibly natural, and the coverage is quite good for a BB cream. It looks just like my own skin with a subtle glow. The price is quite steep if you're buying it in Korea. While the staying power isn't as good as a foundation, it pairs beautifully with Etude's Glow On Base. It's a perfect match with Etude's Glow On Base. For those with darker complexions, I recommend shade 2. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 20, 2017
Absorbs beautifully. While the coverage and staying power could be better, it's a perfect match when used with Guerlain powder products. It's a bit on the drier side, so I actually prefer Guerlain's blue BB cream from the Aqua line (though I heard it's been discontinued). However, if L'Or de Guerlain makes an appearance... it'll cover all those shortcomings! - yu*******Dry SkinOct 9, 2017
This BB cream has such a beautiful color! It applies quite thinly for a BB cream, which I'm very satisfied with and enjoy using. There seems to be a slight darkening effect over time... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 2, 2017
I really like it! It applies smoothly, has great coverage, doesn't settle into fine lines, and lasts a long time. In my opinion, it's even better than most foundations. The only downside is that it darkens a bit over time, but aside from that, it's always been a go-to product for me.
