I usually don't wear mascara at all, but this one is really great. The hold is good and there's hardly any smudging.

It looks natural... Even though I have quite severe under-eye puffiness, that is not an issue at all.. And it is also an advantage that there is no clumping effect.

I recommend this mascara to those looking for one that leaves absolutely no visible trace of mascara. It simply makes the lashes slightly more defined without any lengthening or volumizing effects, so it would work well as a daily mascara if you already have naturally full lashes. Being more of a 'fixer' than a true mascara, it won't clump or smudge no matter how much you apply. The difference from the Etude House Saenal Cara is that the Etude one gives a dewy, just-washed look, while the Aritaum one doesn't have that wet expression.

Pros
It doesn't smudge! It doesn't smear! Even the most waterproof mascaras usually smear on my oily eyelids, but this product doesn't smear at all!! It creates a natural yet defined eye look. The product has a light black color, not white or colorless, so even after hours of wear and wind exposure, the lashes don't turn grey or white - they stay just as they were when first applied. Since it's a fixative, the curling power is also great. Applying it in straight strokes rather than zig-zags results in a smooth, clump-free application. It washes off well with eye makeup remover or cleansing oil. (I just dissolve it all off with cleansing oil and follow up with a light cleansing foam for the second cleanse.) The price of 8,000 won is also very reasonable and not burdensome.
Cons
The wand shape is a bit like a banana and could be slightly thinner. In its current form, the product tends to clump at the tip, so I have to wipe off the excess at the opening before applying. ❤️ Pros - No clumping: Even those without mascara skills can apply it neatly! It seems to be the synergy effect of the mascara liquid and brush. Even though I'm not a pro, I can apply it quickly and messily, and it still looks beautiful. - No smudging: I didn't notice any smudging when I used this fixative for years, but when I used other mascaras, they would smudge.
