It reminds me a bit of Lush's Shrek mask in scent and texture, but the particles are much finer. I'm glad I bought the small travel size... I didn't notice any significant effects, and when I tried to wipe it off with a muslin cloth, it took forever. Cleansing effectiveness - It seems to cleanse better than Lush's Magnaminty. It dissolves well, so I was less worried about it clogging the drain. Effect - Right after cleansing, my skin feels refreshed. It's like my tired, worn-out skin suddenly wakes up. If you enjoy a cool, menthol sensation, I'd recommend this. - It can be irritating on sensitive areas, causing a burning sensation, so you need to avoid applying it there. Especially around the philtrum and nose wings, which are particularly sensitive for me - I felt a stinging sensation immediately and had to wipe it off. Those who dislike menthol sensations might find this even more intense. - The texture is heavy and thick, and it doesn't spread or adhere to the skin as well as I'd like. I've used many wash-off masks, so I tried to apply it with my personal silicone brush, but the small applicator wasn't sufficient. I ended up using my hands, accepting that they'd get messy. - High price compared to the amount you get. A wider silicone mask brush would be really helpful!
