ConsAfter using this, my skin became so dry that I started getting blemishes. It seems to be dehydrating my skin.

It doesn't cause any blemishes, and I've noticed my skin improving over time.
ConsSadly, this product has been discontinued. I tried the new version that replaced it, but it caused blemishes.

Since I only used this sunscreen, I really appreciated its brightening effect.
ConsThe application wasn't great... I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I noticed an increase in small bumps on my skin.

Cons✓ After application, it feels extremely heavy, like you've put a thick, sticky layer on your skin. ✓ As time passes, it becomes very oily. ✓ My skin used to be really good, but it became oily when I started wearing makeup, so I switched to mostly using products for oily skin. Then, on a friend's recommendation, I started using this sunscreen, and that's when my skin began to break out. (I developed many pustular blemishes in the center of my forehead, and my skin changed to combination dehydrated, feeling dry yet excessively oily. I also consistently got small bumps on my cheeks and under my chin.) At first, I thought it was due to lack of sleep during exam period, so I kept using it. Even after exams ended and my skin showed no signs of improvement, I changed my toner and emulsion, but now I realize it was because of this product. I don't have sensitive skin, and usually most cosmetics work well for me, but for some reason this one uniquely caused problems. Maybe it's because it clogs pores, but I'm not sure why it caused such a reaction. I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free sale and had been using it consistently since last winter, but since I stopped using this sunscreen a few days ago, my blemishes have noticeably calmed down. It seems to be the definite cause. (Of course, whether a product suits your skin or not can vary from person to person. I'm not saying that using this product will definitely cause blemishes and worsen your skin, so don't buy it at all! However, if you have sensitive skin, it might be best to be cautious.)

ConsAt first, I liked how it applied thickly but left my skin feeling soft and looking pretty. However, after a week, I experienced a massive breakout of blemishes like I haven't had in years. I didn't realize it was because of this product and kept using it... big mistake. As soon as one area of blemishes would start to heal, another area would erupt. It was a nightmare. I hate to say it, but I usually have good skin except during my period, but this was so much worse than that. I was completely overwhelmed. A few days after stopping use, my skin immediately started to calm down. I'm still trying to heal the scars from that time. Oh, and the smell is awful too. I bought it during a sale and now I don't know what to do with the barely-used bottle. If anyone in Gimpo wants it, come and get it.
TipIt might be fine for some people, but you really need to be careful with sunscreens that have so many potentially irritating ingredients. I wish they offered samples for this. If they did, you should definitely try the sample at least four or five times to see if it suits your skin before buying the full size.

Because of that, my face seemed to produce less oil when I applied this.
ConsAs someone with acne-prone skin, I experienced more breakouts than usual and my skin condition worsened significantly after using this. It's not very hydrating, so when I applied it over my no-sebum powder, it clumped up badly. I can only use it on my neck now. The white cast looks somewhat unnatural, making my face look disconnected from my body if I don't apply it to my neck. I wouldn't recommend this for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin.

There's also a slight white cast, so even with just this on, my face looks brighter when I go to school.
ConsI have combination and sensitive skin, and if I apply this for at least 3 consecutive days, my face breaks out. Especially in the T-zone and around the nose, I get blemishes. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin like mine.
TipIf you apply it with a sponge like foundation, the puff absorbs all the sunscreen. So you should first apply it with your fingers, then use the puff to blend out any clumps.

I didn't get any inflammatory acne for months. It also gives a natural brightening effect, so my friends always thought I was wearing makeup, haha!
ConsI'm planning to switch now. Recently, I've been getting small blemishes on my cheeks, and my forehead seems to be getting worse. On top of that, I even got an inflammatory pimple on my nose. I don't wear makeup, just skincare and sunscreen, and I'm confident that my basic products are really gentle. So I wondered if it might be the sunscreen. I installed the Hwahae app to check, and it turns out there are 5 caution ingredients! Now that winter is coming, and I've heard that natural facial oils should be removed with blotting paper, I'm thinking of switching to the orange one from the same line. It seems better to consider the ingredients when purchasing!
TipIt's really great to use in summer, but for winter, it might be better to use a non-sebum sunscreen! By the way, for those who are buying it for the brightening effect, if your skin tone is too dark, you might end up looking ghostly.

Since I have oily skin, I usually go for matte products, and this one definitely delivers on the matte finish.
ConsI kept getting blemishes when using this under makeup. At first, I thought it was my foundation, but even when I used just the sunscreen, I still got acne. When I stopped using it, my skin cleared up significantly. The ultra-matte finish makes my face feel heavy. It also tends to pill like dead skin cells. Of course, I might be applying it incorrectly. Either way, it causes breakouts.
