The texture is great. I think it has a similar effect to Banila Co. It removes Kiss Me, Etude House mascaras and lipsticks effectively. It cleanses the skin thoroughly too. I've tried oil, cream, and water cleansers, but I find this balm to be the best. Even though I have oily skin and use various products like pore primers, I prefer oil and balm cleansers for a thorough cleanse, and this one is definitely good. When you add water, it emulsifies and cleanses well. However, I personally don't like the slippery feeling of oil and balm cleansers, so I follow up with a cleansing foam for a triple cleanse. The downside is that the amount seems small for the price. Or maybe... it just feels like it runs out faster compared to oil cleansers. It works wonders for my combination dehydrated skin! - kk*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 7, 2016
I originally used Holika Holika Pig Makeup Zero, which was amazing at removing makeup and improved my skin a lot while using it. I wanted to repurchase it, but... That product was discontinued and apparently replaced by this one! So I bought this instead, and I'm very satisfied with it too! First of all, it removes makeup really well while still feeling gentle on the skin! It's great how it cleanses thoroughly without irritating my skin. Also, unlike cleansing oils, it doesn't drip all over your hands, which makes it more convenient to use! The spatula is thinner and smaller than the previous product, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, the plastic protective cover seems to have gotten thinner. However, I'm even more pleased with the cleansing effectiveness, scent, and texture of this renewed product! First, make sure to thoroughly remove eye makeup and lipstick with a lip and eye remover! You might feel a bit uneasy if you use this without removing eye makeup first. Take about a pinky finger-sized amount and gently massage it onto your face - it melts away beautifully! After massaging for about 3 minutes, rinse with water until the white residue is gone. Finally, finish with a light cleanse using a foam cleanser, and you're done! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 29, 2016
I really liked that it didn't run down my face. It's easy to remove cleanly! It seems like it doesn't come off easily... It takes a while to remove completely.
