I received this as a gift and it's pretty decent. I was worried about using it since my skin has been sensitive lately, but fortunately, I've been able to use it as a base without any blemishes. I especially like that when I apply it with a cotton pad, it helps even out my skin texture. It has a rather strong artificial scent, which made me hesitant before using it. I dislike the fragrance every time I use it. It feels like it doesn't provide much hydration. The scent is pleasant, and I feel like my other skincare products absorb better when I apply this first! The price is a bit steep for the amount you get. The texture is rich and sticky, but once applied, you don't need to layer anything else on your face. It can be used as a substitute for serum. I'm not sure about its effect on blemishes yet. However, when applying other skincare products immediately after, it feels a bit awkward. It seems better to wait a while after using essence before applying this. I use this like a toner, but it feels more nourishing and the hydration is amazing. I bought it when it first came out last year, and I loved it so much that I purchased the duo set this time. At first, I just thought it was moisturizing, but after 2-3 months, my skin texture became smoother and my face developed a nice glow. The amount is generous, and the price is reasonable too. I have sensitive skin and usually get blemishes from cosmetics with lots of fragrances, so I often use natural or gentle baby products. This one, being an organic brand, is mild and doesn't cause blemishes. However, it doesn't absorb well when rolled on, so I have to press it into my skin with my palms. When I bought it, I loved the scent and how moisturizing it felt on the back of my hand. However, about 15 minutes after applying it to my face, I developed blemishes and what looked like red hives. I immediately washed it off, applied my usual toner, and then used some Mario Badescu. The itching was unbearable!

I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, but this feels like it's replenishing my skin's hydration. After using this product and following up with a moisturizing mask, my skin stays hydrated until the next morning. I've been using it for a month now, and I can really feel the difference in my skin. The price is a bit steep, and for the first few days, there was a slight tingling and prickling sensation. However, after about a week, my skin adapted to it. For best results, pat the product onto your skin, then press it in with your palms to help it absorb well. Finish with a hydrating mask for an extra boost of moisture.
