The color payoff is fantastic, and I was on the hunt for a nude lipstick - NARS Honolulu Honey was just perfect! It has this lovely apricot-beige vibe. I often use it as a cream blush on my cheeks too, which looks beautiful. It's become one of my go-to lipsticks! The only downside is that it can accentuate dry, flaky lips. For the best application, I found I needed to apply lip balm first, exfoliate, and then use the lipstick. Despite this extra step, the beautiful color makes it worth continuing to use! - 77*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2020
The ingredients are great, and it's perfect as a base before applying color cosmetics If you absolutely want color on your lips, this isn't for you! Also, the case is quite stiff to open and close - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 11, 2018
I'm not sure if there's anything particularly great about it. It seems to emphasize dead skin cells a lot... The only good thing might be the pretty color...? It's expensive, but the application is really tough. It feels like you're paying for the brand name, not the product quality. I received it as a gift, so while I'm disappointed, I have no choice but to use it. - yo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinNov 6, 2016
Nars Honolulu Honey! I suddenly craved an orange-beige nude lip, so I bought it... ♥ While Peach Stock turned me into a ghost, this one seems to work well. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients. I have a feeling I'll be loving Nars more than Bobbi Brown from now on. It's a shame it's a Japanese company though... sigh. This is a concern I have every time I use lipsticks, but Yellow No. 4 is commonly found in the lip products that suit me well... It makes me feel conflicted every time I see it. My face is already so yellow... I wish I had a complexion that could pull off light, nude lips well. Actually, I just want to look good in any lip color... Pink is a definite no-go for me, no matter what!!! I recommend looking up images of Lee Hyori's 'Nolleowa' makeup for inspiration. At the very least, you should properly do your eyeliner and contouring to avoid looking sickly.
