My husband bought me the Vanillakko wedding line as a birthday gift. Since my husband doesn't know much about cosmetics, he just bought what was recommended. I was touched that my shy husband went to the cosmetics store to buy it. At night before bed, I diligently applied it. But it's a great product. After applying it for a few nights before bed, I noticed my face was soft and glowing in the morning when I washed my face. I now apply it generously before bed, and my husband applies it too before we sleep. The texture is between an essence and a cream - it's a gel-type formula with a bouncy feel. It doesn't absorb as quickly as a sleeping essence, but it doesn't feel too thick either. There are white capsules suspended in the transparent essence, and as you apply it, the capsules break and the white essence spreads out. I've seen great brightening and skin texture improvement effects. My husband's face has also become more radiant after using it. My skin tone has brightened, and I can immediately feel how soft my skin is when I wash my face in the morning after using it.

Before I could even feel the effects, breakouts just popped up, so I couldn't use it more than once. When I see other people, it seems like they have a brightening effect, but it just doesn't seem to work for me.

It is moisturizing without being oily! It has the perfect moisture level for dry skin.
Cons
The white granules were a bit... When I broke them, they seemed a bit like pearls, so I felt a bit uncomfortable about it.. Be careful if you have sensitive skin with acne. When I applied it, my skin got hot and itchy, and I ended up getting more clogged pores. I thought it was because of my foundation, so I changed it, but it was actually because of this product. It was fine at first, but at some point it started reacting this way.

Ugh... Using this for two days in a row caused small pimples to appear on my temples, which didn't have any pimples before... It really looks like a pimple field now. I bought it because I heard too many good things about it, but I'm still not sure. It's not overly moisturizing or greasy, but it seems just about right.

The only downside is that it's not moisturizing enough when applied. It was the worst cream I've ever used.

I started applying it at night and woke up the next day with a massive breakout. Even during my school days when I first started wearing makeup, I had never experienced acne like this - from small bumps to large pimples all around my chin and cheeks. I praised it for about a week or two, saying it's amazing and completely good for my skin. I boasted about it, saying it's like a miracle, as all my acne and blemishes disappeared. Then I confidently just applied sunscreen and went about my day. Even my friends were amazed at how my skin had improved. I'm 200% satisfied and so happy about it. I feel like this is the confidence of my bare face.

I'm not sure if I should use it occasionally or if the effects only last in the beginning... It's a hassle, taking pills and all. After using it consistently, my skin got completely messed up afterwards. Breakouts started popping up again.
