It was absolutely gorgeous. The store employee also mentioned it's incredibly long-lasting, which led to my impulse purchase. After swatching it on the back of my hand and trying to remove it with a wet wipe, it truly wouldn't budge. You can see this in the fourth photo! It took vigorous rubbing multiple times, to the point where my skin became sore and red, before it finally came off cleanly.
ConsMy eye area is extremely oily, to the point where some regular brush eyeliners don't even show up due to the excess oil. This product does apply very darkly, but it's not the smooth gel I expected. It's more of a... firm gel? So you need to spread it carefully to avoid clumping, and if you don't apply it properly, you'll get powder residue as shown in the photo. To get a dark, crisp line without powder, you need to apply it in one swift motion - but I'm not a makeup artist! It's really disappointing. The funny thing is, once it's on, it stays put. The staying power is truly excellent and there's no smudging at all. The 5th and 6th photos show how it looks after a few hours. This product might be good for those who like thick eyeliner or for people with hooded eyelids to fill in their crease.
TipI've seen many bloggers posting about this product, but it's completely misleading. You really can't trust reviews from bloggers who received free products. They all seem to list the same advantages as if they're reading from a script, with no mention of any disadvantages. That's why I got frustrated and started writing reviews on Hwahae. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I was so annoyed by these promotional posts that I felt compelled to start. What a nuisance.
