I bought this mainly to collect colors, so I didn't really consider if it would suit me. But let me highlight a few positives: 1. Being a lip gloss, it gives this amazing patent leather shine when applied - like you'd see on a loafer! (I loved it as I was tired of matte lips, but it might be a love-or-hate thing) 2. The applicator tip is quite thin, making it easier to follow your lip line. (Just be sure to control the amount...) 3. While I didn't choose it for the color, I'd say it's not great on its own, but it's perfect for mixing with other shades to create more intriguing hues. Think of it as a magenta shade. 4. There's hardly any dead skin cell emphasis, so it's great to use when your lips aren't in the best condition. Well, as you might expect, the staying power is absolutely abysmal. You'll witness the magic of everything on your lips transferring to your cup after just one sip of coffee! I had no idea the ingredients would be this poor... I'm not sure if it's related, but I felt a slight burning sensation on my lips when I applied it. If you're considering buying it, I'd recommend trying it in-store first to see if it works for you. The staining effect seemed a bit weak too.
