Back then, it was recommended to me at a cosmetics store - their plum skin toner and emulsion. That's how I discovered the brand, and I've been using it until now at 39. It's a shame that many great products have been discontinued. This mask isn't from their original line, but it's a later product. I hope it doesn't get discontinued. Personally, when I apply it, my skin temporarily brightens and becomes hydrated. That's why I always use it the night before any special occasion. I keep a stock of these. I've tried other masks like Serendy Beauty, Dewycell, and SU:SKIN rubber masks, but this one's effects are superior. Oh, and the yellow and pink masks from the same line aren't as good. I keep a week's supply in the fridge.
ConsIt comes in two separate sheets for top and bottom, so it takes an extra step to apply compared to other masks. The front and back are different, so you need to be careful when applying. If you feel itchy or uncomfortable, you might have put it on backwards. There's a slight mesh pattern visible in bright light. I found it's less irritating with the mesh pattern facing outwards, so I always double-check before applying. It's also on the pricier side.
TipWhile not entirely natural or organic, it works for my very dry, tight, sensitive skin. It doesn't cause blemishes, so I keep it as an emergency option. Sometimes, overly natural products can actually cause adverse reactions. (Similar to how Avene's repair cream, though not natural, can reduce redness.) Before applying, I use galactomyces toner, apply eye cream around my eyes, and lightly pat on a watery essence. Don't fall asleep with it on as it can dry out. If my skin is particularly dry, I'll apply the remaining essence from the packet before putting on the mask. There's usually quite a bit left, so I keep applying it to my face, and whatever's left goes on my neck and body.
